Heh yeah, I've seen a few too. S4 caught in eye in particular.

I think the most under rated game was one called blade mistress.

I played that game for 5+ years and it had the best community ive ever seen in any game to this day.

the game was run by a single guy and it had a huge amount of updates and also included instances with big bosses(way before WoW time i might add)

it also wasn't class based/limited.

you could be better at say crafting but still be better at fighting then a fighter because you might have a say insanely uber sword.

It also had world events where the towns would be invaded by huge monsters(i mean like you couldn't even see their head) and it took alot of people to kill it.

the GMs were also fun and liked to screw around by summoning armies of dragons and a few anubis's to keep people entertained.

Blade Mistress was deffinately alot of fun, I would probably have kept playing it but i got a better PC.

Wow...I thought this topic died. Anyways, I actually enjoyed S4, except for the fact that laggers ruined the game!

If it had no laggers though, I would be playing it way too much. :P

Planetside destroyed by SoE. One of the best games 4ever.

funny enough most of us ended up on WoW after punisher took the game offline

I also wanna recommend: Mount and blade. Download the free version and check it out. It has the most realistic and authentic melee combat(real time), archery and mounted combat. It's a very indie game and VERY HARDCORE. This game won't hold your hand but god, is it awesome.
They are adding 32 player multiplayer this winter. You can play the free version to lvl 7. Seriously try it.
