That's MOST mmos, 2D or 3D.

Oh yeh? You're just saying that because you enjoy the game. It's definitely not awesome and definitely is total balls. I could probably see the great appeal if I was twelve, but I'm not. ;/... Come to think of it, I haven't ever played an online 2D side-scrolling game that I've enjoyed.

Really, I play them because they don't need a modern computer to run efficiently. My junker handles 'em nice and smooth. <3
ie: I'm cheap.

Because sprites and pixels are superior to polygons. They have quite a bit more charm to them. In the event of 2D with 3D sprites...then I dunno. I've just always been a whore for 2D games.

Your poll is kinda weird because none of those things really distinguish 2D MMOs from 3D ones...

I like 2D games because it gets tiring having to navigate in three dimensions. Its already enough work doing it IRL.
