Punisher is one of my favorites and I have to agree with the above, I've turned by back on my comic book collection, more so because I haven't got the time to continue enjoying them, with work, the GF, going out with mates and playing games I just don't have the time, I did, well do have a decent collections of limited punisher, ghostrider and wolverine prints, one of my old hulk comics was valued about $175US 15 years ago I must dig it up, I may look at selling them off, I also have a massive collections war comics which which I cataloged ready for sale but decided to hold on to them.

I've generally been a total nerd for the X-Men, as well as a few other marvel characters, though I've never really gotten very heavily into them until Ultimate X-Men...though I'm going to just ignore that whole "Ultimatum" event fiasco. I used to read Batman fairly often some years ago as well. And of course, I've gone about getting my hands on a rather massive collection of Uncanny X-Men to read, but I just can't find them time to start because I know I won't stop.
Most recent thing I've read was the entirety of the most recent Blue Beetle, and now I'm in the process of tracking down anything Ted Kord related. Something about a tactical genius above even Batman's level really has my curiosity piqued. [EDIT]: I've also always had a rather bizarre fascination with Steel, despite that god awful Shaq movie. That's another series I'd love to read through someday.

I think that X-Men is one of the harder Marvel Series to start in, being that they're usually long..
Even so, I think Astonishing X-men, or The Uncanny X-men would be a good jump off point. But like I said. They're kind of drawn out. D: As far as the intimidating thing goes, it's kind of awkward to get into unless you've started early. Elitists left and right might nag your head off at times, and it could get overwhelming trying to keep up with issue after issue, back orders and first appearances. But there are ways around that, like sliding out a couple of buckaroos to see them online, etc. Though it's easy to get started with help. Trust us, We won't bite. <3
