Yes

There are two ways of getting certain unlocks you need to keep playing without buying any DDO store points.

1. Certain quests will grant you DDO points.
2. Certain quests will have DDO store items as rewards.

i'm playing the game currently and i do like it quite a bit. all p2p stuff can be gotten without paying money, by gaining "favor" in game which redeems for their Turbine points. the level cap thing is annoying but the sigils you get to raise the level cap can be obtained through quests.

i would say its probably one of the best inventive f2p aspect i've seen for a while, and that, along with the great customization will probably keep me playing for a good while.

Bleh. I don't know what class to be. Can Barbarians eventually wear heavy armor? Or should I just be a fighter or paladin? o.o

One of the best features about this game is you can multiclass. When you level up, you can choose to level your existing class or gain a new class.

Level Barbarian to 3 or 4 then go to warrior. The max multiclassing you can do is 3 classes.

Mmkay well I got on and I'm loving the game so far.

Mythy : Level 2 (rank 1 or 2, don't remember) Fighter. Was dual-wielding at first, but now I found an awesome masterwork shield, so I've been using that.

any disadvantages to multi classing? and yea this game is pretty fun im a cleric all the melee people that were in my group said my melee was better than theres

I'd look at some guides on multiclassing on their offical forum or somewhere else.

Theres a LOT of disadvantages to multiclassing in DnD that would cause a lot of people here to explode if I tried to post them all here.

Trying this game out as a Dwarf Fighter, and I'm having a blast so far.

My first character built in the CB of the P2P model was a Dwarf fighter dual weilding dwarven axes.

They are nice...
