I don't think there's any.. It's not really MMO-ish if you have the same concept as most new-gen shooters where your screen turns red when you're about to die.

I'd like to see an MMO where the health system is instead replaced with a Ghost N Goblins lose all your armor till your dead system. Maximo sure did a good job improving on it, as you lose layer after layer of armor every time you get hit.

Well even this is still a health-bar. It might be invisible and regenerate, but it's still there.

It's sad to think it's become so ubiquitous that it's impossible to imagine it not being there in an MMO. Games could still be MMOish witout a health-bar! It just needs a bit of imagination to replace it with something workable. I've got a few ideas, but you'll have to wait for the article. :P

The idea of having your hit point replaced by 'armour points' is about the only deviation from the healthbar theme I've managed to find.

While it's a nice change, it's effectively just a change in name only. In all the time since Ghosts'n'Goblins, you'd have thought developers could do a little better.

Hah, no.

I can think of hundreds of games that don't have health that aren't MMOs. Anything in the RTS, adventure or puzzle genre for a start :P

Well I wasn't thinking of RTS or puzzle games, the game I was thinking was bushido blade, or I think that's the name of it :[, all I remember is that the game has a OHKO system, but it doesn't matter anyways.

I can't think of one, cos even EvE has somesort of HP system so your best bet would be to play an FPS as for MMORPGs health bar works.
