Baldur's gate 1 and 2, along with planescape torment, and the icewind dale series.

Hmm, sorry it took me a bit to get back to this one.

Anno 1404, that's a really good game. I'm thoroughly loving it at the moment.

Fallout 3 is superb, takes a long time to play and it'll keep you going for ages.

How about: Mass Effect, that's really quite good, you can play through numerous times and you'll not see all the game has to offer unless you do.

Try Devil May Cry 4. I dunno how good the PC version is, but I have the Xbox 360 version and it's hella fun.

Though the game isn't that long, you can replay all of the missions on higher difficulty settings and stuff.

Mass Effect is a great game. You can pick to be on the good side helping citizens and such. Or cause havoc as a badass and raping your enemies. (Not literally...). Also you can drive a vehicle in one of the missions. You can get a spaceship and explore the planets. There are many dialog options to choose from. You can select what type of path/skills/weapons/armor you want to specialize in. Also it's a big game world. The scenery/graphics are great. It's truly a great game.
