Default Which PC game, should I buy today?

Since I moved into my own apartment yesterday and have yet to get my super high speed internet, I am planning to buy some super awsome vid-game to hold me over. Something that takes long to play through.

No fps.

What should I buy? O.O

A mix of all. Something sandboxi. Where my char can go good or evil.. or I build up a force. . . etc.

I was thinking maybe the new Anno, Fallout3, Drakensaga.. Dark bla bla?, erm. . .GTA4 Battleforge.. etc

The first fable is a decent game, you can be good or evil and lots of places to explore. The game also has multiple endings and has high replay value, although the graphics are not all that great. You could put an easy 30 to 40 hours of gameplay into it on your first time beating it.

The entire story of the game aswell as the endings change wheather or not you are good or evil. The people opinions and views of you are also different depending if you are good or evil and your looks also change slightly aswell.

Yes, but if you own the PC one..there isn't really another ending.

You kill the dragon, and choose to wear the mask or not

Nothing else..really.

I recommend: Oblivion/Fallout 3. Good choices. I prefer Oblivion over Fallout 3. As Oblivion has much more to do. =/ That's just me.

I mean I liked Fo3. I loved the theme, but the lack of "joining" a faction and doing quests.. It wasn't as cool.

LOL GET IT?

If there is one thing I realized over the past several months; is that life is a very short experience, and it shouldn't be wasted avoiding opportunities, and instead of allowing minuscule things getting you down, you should smile and tip your hat, and accept any outcome, good or bad.

I would say go with Oblivion if you are more into swords and magic, and Fallout 3 if you like guns and explosives. Of course I have both Though I like Oblivion more b/c of the storyline sorta, and the mods and such for the game, like right now I can ride a dragon, have my own flying ship, custom weapons. Fallout 3 was fun, except it was missing stuff that I looked forward to, or atleast there aren't any mods to make what I want. You can also try out Fable for PC. Games like Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2. Your alignment towards good and evil affects what happens to you and your available options in the game.
