(Oh it's fine notyetdone, you copied my powers, might as well copy my ideas as well D : < ) (Kidding about the first bracket lol, think of it as a joking nudge. It'll be interesting to meet another character this early in the RP though)
James sailed down the storm sewers, barely managing to stay awake by the soothing movements of the water. As he reached a bend in the waterways, he saw blue light reflecting off the water. "Could it be? another mutant?" He said to himself. He quickly stood up with pole in hand and started to row, giving more speed to the slow craft. He reached the person just in time to watch as the young teenager changed the stormdrain in to cement. So it is another mutant He thought. James reacted quickly, he placed the pole horizontally across the raft, the butt ends of the pole just barely reaching either wall of the sewer. More light was emitted and the staff became fused to the walls and the craft, holding it in place next to the teenage. "What is your name, boy?" He asked the him. James decided that if the youth was going to take too long to answer, he'll leave. Afterall he could hear a lot of commotion above them and suspected that the police had found this one as well. (Let's just say the commotion is reinforcements if you killed all the rest that were disturbing you lol) James was not in the mood to kill more idiotic "pure" humans. ((OOC: I assume not everyone has to be known as mutants, correct? ))
Zeki unknowingly hummed to the song bursting forth from within her silver headphones, which bobbed each time she rocked to the beat. A catchy melody along with a spicy female voice singing the lyrics to a rock-and-roll song took her mind off of the people and world around her. For a moment, Zeki paid no attention to her surroundings and, after placing her hand covered slightly by black, fingerless gloves she made out of discarded whole gloves, closed her eyes. When the song ended and the noise of a bustling crowd reached her ears, she gazed annoyingly at those around her. "What are they gawking at today?" Zeki questioned in her mind as she pressed the stop button on cell phone. "Honestly, I don't know why they invented those big screen TVs that can be found on almost every building. People see an ad for some new movie or something and they stand like bovines in the middle of the street. Then when a car--" Just as Zeki was about to cross the street, she took a few steps back and directed her icy blue hues towards one of the screens. The clip was ending, but Zeki just barely caught what seemed to be a pale boy with brown hair climbing a skyscraper. The newscaster, a male in his late twenties with black hair combed in no particular direction and evergreen eyes spoke enthusiastically at the cam, as though the previous clip was the biggest scoop of his life. However, unless there was a shot with a better image of the boy, any daredevil could of climbed the building. "Another bust. Jeez, when are they going to give up? Now even the ads for movies don't have a chance." Rubbing her head, Zeki shoved her way through the crowd. As she did, one of her feet caught onto something and stumbled forward. Before Zeki could stop herself, she collided into an older teenager boy with hair like hazelnuts, only darker. Backing up a few paces and holding out her hands with an awkward grin, her eyes just barely caught what appeared to be emerald eyes. Unfortunately, she did not get a good look, because her eyes locked onto a screen with the time blinking upon it in digital numbers. "Ahhh!" Zeki screamed, realizing she was late meeting up with her friends. "S-sorry for bumping into you like that, but I have to go. Sorry. Sorry! Sorry!" ((OOC: Do you know what it's like when you do something clumsy when you are in a rush and you apologize continuously? Yeah, that is what Zeki just did. xD I will continue the post later, when night time comes (figure it isn't night yet...)) |

"Rain....Rain!" yelled the teacher from the front of the classroom. Rain was staring outside and didnt even here her call his name the first time. "Yes ma'am." Rain said calmly as he shook his head and turned his gaze to her. "What is the answer to my question?" she asked. Rain scratched his head and looked up into the air. "Umm.." His friend Kristofer sat next to him and gave a small laugh. A group of girls in front of him looked back and giggled. He saw their gaze and smiled back rubbing his head. As he did this, they turned away blushing. "I think its Alexander Heoeff". The teacher walked up to him and said calmly. "That is exactly what the mathematical answer is Rain... Heoeff..." She sighed and walked back to the front of the classroom. "Can you please stop dozing off, or you will fail the class" Rain smiled back at her and said "Of course Ms. Jinnaleor."
At that, the bell ran for the end of class. "Being a senior in highschool has its privileges" Kristofer said while still laughing at what happened. "Also being one of the most popular kids in school can rewarding". Rain looked back at Kris and laughed back "And my reward is a friend who doesnt do anything...imagine that!" Kris looked at him...annoyed for a second, but then laughed. "I guess you could be right" Kris said as he grabbed his stuff out of his locker. " Oh, by the way, Sireen is having a party tonight. You up for it?" "I'll see... my parents are going out and I might have to watch Sophie. Rain responded "Cant Sophie watch herself?" Kris said annoyed that his best friend couldnt go to the party. "Yes Kris... a 10 year old can watch herself and protect herself..." Kris sighed and they parted ways at Tinnel Street. Walking back Rain saw accouple people he knew, acted like his "fake" self, and went on his way. This acting continued day in and day out. Rain just wanted to do something... new. Little did he know that his wish would come true...in a different way. Rain finally got back home to find his parents sitting in the family room, looking like they were waiting for him. "Umm... did I do something wrong again?" Rain asked. Rain knew it was bad.... he could see it in his father's face. "Pack your things up. We dont want you in this house anymore" the mother said. Rain was rather surprised. "What did I do wrong now?" Even though Rain wanted to run away countless times, he stayed because of his little sister. "We heard from a neighbor that they saw you doing something weird in the backyard late last night. She said when she stepped outside, the air was cold and dead, but then turned strong and mighty. She said it was if someone was controlling it. Rain didnt remember doing anything of the sort the night before, and was puzzled. "But.." Rain was about to say something before being cut off by the yelling mother. Rain went upstairs into his room and grabbed a bunch of cloths and other items and stuffed it into his bag. On the bed, he saw a bunch of money and a note from his father saying "I will try to think of something. Find a place to stay for now." Rain smiled, not the fake smile he puts on at school, but a real earnest one, and put the money in a sock he had and placed it in the bag. He checked he had everything and left the room. Outside of his room stood his little sister "Where are you going brother?" She asked with her eyes sparkling because of the bright light in the hallway. "I am going away for abit. Don't worry! Ill be back soon. Be good for mom and dad." Dzi said patting her on her head. He almost biting his tongue saying that. Dzi walked downstairs, saw the parents still in the family room, and walked out the door. |

Zeki raced down various streets at a quick pace, dodging cars and angry citizens that she nearly knocked down like the other boy. Being clumsy wasn't a normal thing for her, but when you tried to sprint down the packed sidewalks and car infested streets of Haven City, there was almost no chance of dancing through every obstacle gracefully. Still, Zeki tried her best, lowering her headphones so that they rested around her neck and keeping her eyes peeled on everything in front of her. When a zooming, red sports car nearly ran her over, though, Zeki took it as a sign to slow down.
"Why does this city always have to be in a hurry?" Zeki pondered, ignoring the fact that just a few minutes ago, she had been moving at a fast pace as well. "I mean, if everyone slowed down, I'd have a chance to speed up. When everyone speeds up, how am I to keep up, or rather, overcome their speed? It would be awesome if I had some power over time--" Zeki frowned, recalling that, despite how calm everything seemed now, having powers of any sort was deemed forbidden. Even the once popular comic books featuring humans who suddenly gained superpowers had lost its popularity when the "mutants" appeared. In fact, a few artists who drew fantastic pictures of humans weilding powers were rumored to be "mutants" themselves. All in all, it was like the "witch hunts" in Salem. Anything too foreign to "normal" humans had to be "erased". "There is only one difference the witch trials of old and now. Most of the events that occured in Salem was fake; this is real." Hearing her name, Zeki looked up and saw her friends. There were three of them waiting beside a bus stop. One was a 14-year-old girl with curly, light brown hair pushed back about midway across her head by a white headband with sunflowers on it. Her eyes were huge and sparkled like sapphires; they were known to flash puppy dog eyes at anyone who refused to do what she wanted. A yellow sundress with a big bow in the back and tan sandels gave her the appearence of a summer girl in an old-fashion painting. "What took you soooo long, Zeki?" Emily, the first she noticed, asked in a tired, yet childish way. "You should knooow it is bad to keep your friends waiitiiing. Honestly, Zeki. You can be sooo mean at times." "Would you please stop stretching your words and saying my name in that exaggerated tone you always use?" Zeki questioned coldly, a scowl upon her face. "I came as soon as possible. Not everyone can magically summon a taxi with the wave of a hand and a sparkling smile, Emily. You even dressed up again." "Aww, forget about all that. We didn't all skip school for nothing, right?" Another girl of the age of 17 grinned mischievously, keeping her voice low enough to not be heard by any passerbys. Her short, indigo colored hair was held in a ponytail, the hair that managed to stick out of it flaring in all directions. Two clips, one red and the other purple, held back the few bangs she had. Dark brown eyes widened only by the force applied to her forehead at pushing it back skimmed every little detail around her, like a hawk. She wore a charcoal coat, a crimson t-shirt, black shorts with a rhinestone belt, and red sneakers. "Mira, even if you keep your voice down, someone still might hear. Besides, it was you who wanted all of us to skip school on a Friday just to go all over the place looking for a wigi board. By the way, I covered my side and found nothing, so I gave up--" "Zeki, I didn't take you as a quitter," An older teenager of the age 18 remarked sarcastically, leaning against a wall a few feet away from the bus stop. He had black hair that nearly his his seagreen eyes from view. A gentle demeanor always surrounded him, as though nothing phased him. His outfit consisted of a long, white shirt, baggy blue sweatpants, and black sneakers with a white trim. On his head was a black cap and around his wrists were blue wristbands. Despite his casual clothes, he still looked somewhat handsome. "Don't give me that, Aeon! Besides, this is all your fault..." "How so?" "Because you never get scared! Everytime we watch horror movies, you never jump, not even once! In fact, you laugh during the whole movie, like some sort of sadist!" "It doesn't matter, you two. Aeon found the wigi board, so all we have to do is wait for night to settle." ((OOC: Anyone figured out where I am going with this? )) |

The Doctor wasn't going to give up so easily, especially since she knew that this would be her end if she did. The hadn't handcuffed her yet so she could still move her hands and arms when she escaped. She kicked one in groin sending him to the ground instantly Moron didn't wear a cup. She used her free arm to grab his gun and pistol whip the other one in the face while they were distracted, she ran OVER the crowd pushing off heads to stay a bit of the ground and used someone shorter then her to be high enough to run across their shoulders, she had calculated exactly which ones to run across before she even made her first step. after she got past the crowd she spotted a group of people around her age and ran behind them and said quickly "Don'taskorI'llshootyoujusthideme!"

Zax watches James place the raft still, he grins and answers the question The Names Zaxon, Call me Zax ((basically pronounced Zacks)) Zax Walks toward the man looking at the raft, then to the ladder. grabbing the storm drain ladder and turning it into a long wooden pole, more productive for rowing. Seems like you and i are a lot a like, I've really only seen mutants with two powers and you are well.... You seem to be a lot more productive with yours. Says Zax as he examines the edges of the walls, where the pole attached. Zax Walks onto the raft examining it a little bit more. And you are? And where are you headed off to? Zax asks as he sits on the raft, handing James the pole and covering his head with his hood.
(( lol i actually didn't look at your char sheet at first i was thinking of something like 3 powers that would be so much more productive but we can only have 2, and these two powers are freaking godlike together! Lol, yeah sorry for (sort of) taking your powers. And yeah i was just trying to think of something great that i might be able to branch off of and you just popped up couldn't really take Mr super fast and muscle man haha (no offense by the way) ))

(I don't mean to be rude but if you aren't doing so already, could you read through what you type and correct what needs to be corrected. I can understand what your saying, but it'll be much easier to read if you fix a few small things here and there (Grammar mostly).)
He nodded, "Zaxon...It's a fine name indeed." He said in a matter of fact tone. "My name is James Chest, you can call me Mr. Chest, James, or James Chest. Whatever floats your boat really." He said with a smile. "Pun intended." He returned his pole to normal and pushed off the walls to get the raft moving again. James was sitting now to make more room for his new companion, he stared down the sewers and said "We are headed to a old structure I like to call home. It use to be a storage for some kind of building material, but they long since abandoned it." He continued to row his makeshift raft until he noticed a metal ladder propped up against the wall. "Here we are." He said aloud. James once again pressed his pole against the walls and brought the raft to a halt, he then jumped off and proceeded to climb up the rusty piece of equipment. James drew a imaginary circle on the sewer ceiling above and created another storm drain which he pushed upwards and tossed to the left. He climbed the last few rungs and jumped, leaving the sewers and Zax behind for a few moments. James ducked his head in to the sewers and said "Would you mind destroying the raft and bringing the poles while your coming up, I might need them later on, thanks." His head disappeared from Zax's view again as he sat down on a bench next to the discarded storm drain. He hummed a small tune and waited for his companion to come up. |

Cyr blinked as the girl bumped into him. Freinzied talking between the crowds was now a din in his ears as he shifted his eyes to the television screen once more. He shook his head, politeley pushing past the crowd with the occasional "Sorry.". Somthing was curious about the girl, however. He wanted to find out, call it a sixth sence. If you will. So, he went to the nearest alleyway. Hopping up onto the rooftop of a small house. Most would think this strange, but the crowds were far too distracted with their chatter at the moment. He saw the girl sprinting through the crowds, nearly getting ran over by a red sports car. He noticed the driver gave her a rather bitter look. Revving his engine to get her to move on. Frankly, he was following her moreso out of concern than curiosity. If she was a mutant... His eyes trailed back to her kind, allmost child-like face. She wouldn't last a week, atleast Cyr had been doing this for years - And had the right powers to do so. Inhumane strength and speed wasn't somthing to be taken lightly. Neither was the fact that the only thing that could really hurt him were explosions, diseases and "Knifes." Still, he had to lay low for now. Being carefull as to not expose his position on the rooftops. A few people stared at him, but then dismissed it. Free-running, or "Parkour" was beggining to become rather popular for teenagers his age. So he played the part, occasionally vaulting over obstacles at a normal speed for once. Once he saw the girl stand at the bus-stop, he dropped down into an alleyway. A bum looked up at him, blinking and rubbing his eyes in disbelif. Cyr frowned, giving him a swift smack on the head, knocking him out for a couple of hours. He didn't want to bring danger to himself. Last edited by kain222; 07-21-2009 at 09:54 AM. |

David stomped harshly down the blood filled street aimlessly until he reached a group of those bloody disgusting norms sitting by a car. He looked at them with disgust and he walked over toward them. He tried to put on a happy face for just a few minutes and it was hard. He put his hands behind his back and he said, "What is wrong?" The group turned there heads and they looked at him with a scared and silent look. Behind his back he started to shift a bone in his wrist to stab out of the flesh in his wrist. The group didn't answer, and they only stared at him, up and down. He shifted his happy face to a face of anger and pity.
He swung his arm around and he stabbed the large sharpened bone in his wrist right through the mans heart area. The man groaned and he started to bleed from the mouth. David said to him quietly, "Answer me next time. Filthy norm." The other norms in the group ran away in fear and they seemed to have a handgun with them. After David had realized this, they pointed the gun at him while running away. David held the body up and the bullets hit him in the back. He heard something drop from away and it was the handgun and the women who had dropped it. David stabbed the man over and over again and David's arm was then soaked in blood. David threw the body to the side in disgust and he headed for the women. David ran toward her and he realized that she was too fast for him. David thought to himself for a few seconds and he looked up. He saw a large pillar that would easily crush that norm wench if he knocked it down. David then grabbed the large bone from his wrist, and he tore it out still knowing that he would grow it back in time. He threw the bone as hard and accurate as he could when she was close enough to it and it hit it very harshly. David watched as it fell and heard the innterupted screams from the crash coming from the women. David flipped his hair out of his eyes and he walked down the street. Those filthy norms think they can still live? Mutants will soon b the new race. I know it will... David thought to himself while staring at the blood on his arm. ((Sorry I didn't post in a while. I will do longer posts later on so don't worry peoples. Norms suck cheez! xD))
