Hey guys i am doing a big project which will involve alot of work, I am currently going to Leicester College to resit my GCSE's then i will go to a college down in london called Qantm that specialises in games.I will be going there next year, Which gives me a good time to sort out the plan of it and also get some community rolling.

I am looking for people to help me out with this project, Any website designers,Modelers,Programmers Or anyone that wants to join in and get there points and ideas into a 3D MMORPG game (Hopefully going to be good).

colleges are like the last place to learn things that can be applied to real world situations. Kinda like Microsoft, giving you technically correct information that's utterly useless.

Oh and here's a suggestion:

1) An mmorpg that doesn't bug other people in it's developmental phase by being posted in the wrong section of the forum. (there's a game development subforum, sure nobody's checks that part, that's whole the point)

Uh it seems like he's going to a technical college to learn game design or some other specific skill. This isn't your standard university where you take a bunch of BS classes.

it should be ditto for technical college no? You rip off other people's game engines for free and trial and error it like a man! Geterdun

Sorry, I ddn't know which section to put it in. And we shall make out own game engine with out own base source, at Qantm college they created thier own game engine but use programs such as Maya and alot of costly things. Now i can pay for these in time, But for now i shall get the forums up and start planning with peoples ideas. Thankyou for the good wishes

You can also use 3DS Max, iam doing a game development education as well we learn C++ and 3DS Max mainly

We are going to create a point and click, And a WASD Movement for money (Abit does go to charity [ not a lie] ) and educational a hell lot yes.
