I didn't know it was customary to rate the review, but in any case feedback is appreciated
![]() I might do other reviews in the future. In any case I'll try to make them more interesting and funnier. |

Meh my impressions of DDO ever since it came out has been great game, but the population is crap for a party-oriented game and the company running it is complete dumbasses...

Pretty awful review.
8/10 at the least for this game considering it is now F2P. Also a lot is wrong, the free areas are much more as you can EARN the closed off areas/classes, etc. through quests, not only by paying money(which unlocks it faster without effort). Graphics for DDO are outstanding compared to any F2P game out there. They are even putting in some DX10 features, water int his game looks great compared to most as does a lot of the vistas you see int he outdoors areas. Your character can be developed just how you want it, you have control over your stats, feats, spells, enhancements, race, class(can even mix classes), everything. Better control over exactly what your character is good at than any MMO out there IMO. This is not really an MMO? You are wrong. MMO just means many players online at once. What is the difference between having 6 players in an instance in WOW or 6 people in a dungeon in DDO? Nothing. Do people even PVP outside of instanced arenas in most MMOs? Not really, so what is the difference, essentially none. You did not talk much about how great soloing is in DDO, they setup all those dungeons with a solo difficulty so if you are feeling liek playing alone or don't have much time you can do that. Also, you did not mention how the game is accessible to anyone since you can play many dungeons in 10 minutes or less. That means casuals have much to do here in short time, although there are other areas that take much longer for those that have the time to do them. Seems like you have mnot played this game mcuh and your review of 6/10 is very wrong IMO. DDO is better than any free gam out there including ROM, Atlantica, Perfect World, Jade Empire and any other I have played and by far. |
