I'm aware that the whole whole point in getting the charges is to use them against a monster who is weak to it however: that is irrelevant to my point.

You are missing my point because you are focusing in on the elemental charges WK's get and therefore should train on monsters who are weak to them. I'm simply trying to explain, WK's can do decent damage on neutral element enemies provided you are using good gear. Their damage potential in a single hit or DPS isn't as good as some of the other jobs, however for training purposes they can still do decent damage on neutral element monsters provided they have decent gear even after having the charges. That's all I'm saying.

Of course they do more with the charges, no one is disputing that.

Of course it would be better to exploit their elemental charges on monsters weak to them, I'm not disputing that either. They are not limited to only those types of monsters those are just usually the best ones to train on. In some cases though, once you reach a certain amount of base damage, you can train at a number of spots. Ice charge's ability to freeze is a primary reason people go for it anyway, not for the elemental bonus damage.
I get your point... But why should a WK still train on something they can't kill easily? (point can be disputed on the ever popular WR map..)

Why would any class train on something they can't kill easily? I don't recall saying they should so I'm not sure what you mean by that. Like I said, a lot of em use ice charge for freeze which opens up training spots especially if they have good equips, and not because of the elemental bonus damage.

I've not trained on WRs as a WK so I wouldn't know exactly how hard or easy it is for them. But common sense would tell you that if they ain't easy to kill then you shouldn't be training on them. I never said WK's should train on them in the first place though.

I'm only assuming on the fact that you said WK do decent damage without elemental bonuses. I was only asking that why would they even bother.

And the WR topic was brought up due to the fact it's VERY fast EXP.

Cygnus are already overpowered. That's reason enough to cap them at 120; they outdamage 16x adventurers at that level.
