So it's looks like beta has it's own trial for non-paying people since I'm seeing it says my beta account will end on the 17th, whats the point of having a trial in a beta where there'll be character deletion?

If your testing out the Beta for the F2P, the server is a test server. Its not the official one.

The F2P model has not been released, yet. That is what your testing if you are using the free trial to test the test server.

Umm... i downloaded ddo stormreach i log ... and i see all servers are bolded (red, can't login), and when i read there beta is online... what I did wrong?

You downloaded the Live client, not the Beta client. You'll have to find the download link for the beta client, either in the email they send you or from a previous post.

They just announced that the last day of beta is the 17th.

And that everything is ready for Mod9 to be released on time.

Time to bring this thread back from the dead, as DDO launches today I'm sure some folks with have some questions. Anyways I found this it might help people out a lot:

A bit of a bump. But at least it made sense with this topic.

Well it looks like I've had access to it for the last few days. You seem not to need an active sub, but to have purchased the game at some point.

I should have checked for that
