I havn't been on Cabal in a while and yesterday I tryed getting on but, it said "re-install to update" so i deleted it and downloaded it and installed it again from og planet. and it said the exact same thing to re-install to update. Am i doing something wrong ... please tell me how to do it because i realy want to play again!

if update doesn't work. try downloading it manually.

thanks i just downloaded it last night and ive tried to play it and i got the same message. for a while i thought it was my pc

Hmmm not sure what the problem is, I do have sa suggestion, try uninstalling it from the add/remove programs then run the main installer, lauch Cabal and let it update.
