Blizzard has already stated at a previous Blizzcon that they can continue making lore, as shown in the randomness of Zul'aman. Besides, there is still speculated current-lore based content such as Maelstrom and Emerald Dream for L90 expansion.

- Poor Example in "Forgotten Ones" - A much better example would be Mu'ru prenerf in comparison to now rather than Illidan. Much of Black Temple had become a joke quickly in TBC. One might argue that Kil'jaeden would be the best example, considering he is the main boss of SWP, Mu'ru was considerably harder prenerf.

Nightmare mode. Hogger gets multiattack and lightning enchant.

Jk ofc.

Honestly, i have no idea. I figure some "bigger baddie"(though can't get much bigger then the LK himself) will rise up, or we go into peace, but explore into the malestrom to find a huge amount of baddies, or go to save malfurion.

One thing for sure, blizzard may not treat the LK the way he should be treated.

that raid needs to be epic. and well.... the lk should really be un farmable. While in essence, that is impossible, he really should be. It bothers me to think that at some point some random group of 10 9 year olds will be able to take down the greatest evil on azeroth once a week.

Yeah, if the Lich King is supposedly the strongest "boss" then they should make him really hard to take down. Teamwork should be a must to take him down. One wrong move, and you fail.

There are some ways around the problem that will keep the storyline and the spirit of the raid intact. What it will mean, however, is introducing a little more plot before it's released, not after.

Then players can simply go and foil his plan, and maybe have a bit of a tussle with him, without him becoming a boring old farmable boss.

They guys over at blizzard can write a decent enough plotline, so I'm not worried. They'll think up something nice, they've certainly had long enough. They voiced their worries over this whole issue a long time ago, so I don't think they'll disappoint.

They could always make new lore. Regardless of how people scream, it IS blizzard's franchise. They can do whatever they want with it.

i think they will make a new story with TBC raids maybe same bosses but harder to beat like karazhan,gruul,SSC,TK,MH,BT or maybe illidans brother will come and become a giant demon just like illidan himself and settle in his own place or something

Exactly. Blizzard hade to make up the story to Warcraft 3 as it was. Who's to say that they just can't sit down and right up some new stuff? This is an MMO. It's always changing whether you like it or not. Things would get quite boring if they just remained the same year after year.

Personally, I'm excited to see what's going to come after WotLK. We knew After Illidan that Arthas was next... but who's after the most badass villian of all time? :P

Hm I think blizzard wont just give up on arthas like "kill him", I though 1 day what if we wont be able to kill him? What if he reaches to 1% than he just say something like always 5min text than he banish and leave treasure? And we dont see or hear anymore from him. But i know what u gonna say (HE NEEDS TO DIE) :P but this is just my opinion.
