Dark Realm is finally live! Previously available only through Facebook, it's now on the net and ready for new players.

Description:
Dark Realm is primarily a text-based rpg based in a medieval-style world. The main design is meant to resemble text-based muds, but there are a number of images to enhance the gaming experience. New areas are added every couple weeks, and the ultimate goal of the ai/quest engine is to have an evolving plot line based on player actions. Players can battle npc's (and soon other players in designated arena-style areas and non-safe zones), amass a personal fortune, or simply explore the world.

Platform:
Any browser, but some non-essential sections are not formatted properly in Google Chrome (sidebars).

Enhancements:
Currently being developed is the ability to build one's own house and upgrade it to a castle, fort, or fortress, the ability to buy land and have peasants and other players pay you rent, and the ability to mine one's own ore for smelting or selling.

There is a new forum which lists a development timeline for new implementations along with a section for players to request certain new features or additions.

Registration seemed too archetypical. Perhaps include some artwork for the class-selection?
