hey i just downloaded EQ2 today and started playing... but lol i dont really know how to do lots of things... first question:

1. is there a way to talk in like a "world chat"? so i can maybe get help from people or something like a world chat

2. can i get more action bars? if so how?

3. i like to play healer/support classes that are also not completely helpless on their own... i think Warden and Inquisitor fit that the best out of all classes... but idk which one... so any help with that would be nice too

Ah, its a chat program for gamers..

with tons of extra features..

If you are on a trial you cannot talk in World chat.
you can. shout tho, being on a trial is pretty limited.

You can get more action bars by clicking one with the right mouse and select "open new hotbar"

Inquisitor would be the best choice.

Um I played a month of Everquest...

It was...Interesting...
I made a few characters off the tutorial island but it got pretty boring and difficult after that.

Get into a guild, learn a bit about the game.. and its awsome.

Honestly if you dont mind chilling at lv 12 for a while, become a Warden. they are super nice heals end-game and while you level you can get a talent specialization called "Force of Nature" Give you a melee crit chance of 75%

so more often than not youre critting. you can get it as early as 12. On the way there, you'll get 4 attacks, which are basically your main spells, just turned into attacks, like:

fire strike: An alternative for Fire, this is a melee attack that blazes the target for XX dmg.

Fire: Spell hits a target for XX dmg.

So you basically become super melee with niiiiiice crits and amazing damage. and you can still heal pretty well.

Um, The tutorial was okay, but starting in Quenos sucked.. (IMO)
After the tutorial the area became boring. (later it does become fun again.. but.. well.. and antonica isn't the most interesting map either..

starting in Kelethin is suberb to Quenos.
