so yeah, i just finished watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan for the 2nd time today, and i was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good mecha anime to watch

I second fafner, it's more story and character oriented than mecha fight but it's still pretty good. I'd also suggest any of the gundam series. I saw gundam 00 recently and enjoyed that.
