(Title open for further questioning)
So Heres my MoBo: GA-8I915P-D Pro http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=1798 Quote:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-GeForce-...0200723&sr=1-1 Rather simple question is, can I fit this card, and use it to it's fullest? I recently fitted a Corsair VX550W PSU, so I shouldn't have a power issue. If not, could someone recommend a decent card? Cheers

It fits, but I still would get another card if it's possible....
An ATI 4850 or gtx260 or something along those lines.

I'd agree that the 4850 is good, but I'd rather get the 4830 if you're on a lower budget. It's about 90% of the 4850's performance, but up to $20 USD less. An overclock would give you the same performance of a 4850.

Another question, some cards mention use of the PCI-E 6 pin from the power supply. Is that directly into the graphics card, or the motherboard? And I was looking at these 2 cards: http://www.dabs.com/products/sapphir...l?q=ATI%204850 http://www.dabs.com/products/xfx-ati...l?q=ATI%204850 Thing I'm not sure on is "DDR3 memory", and on my MB's specs it says "Dual Channel DDR2 533/400". Is that limited to just RAM, or is there an incompatibility there? (or a flat out answer of can or can't run would be equally appreciated) Heh, I feel like such a nub, but this is my first attempt at upgrading my PC solo, so questions keep popping up. Those ram only applies to your card and not motherboard. You don't need to worry about this.

Anyway, you need the molex in case you don't have the PCI-e, but you do, so you don't need to care.
