my computer is 9 months old and it has 4 GB ram and i think the graphic card is intell core 2 duo. if its not im not sure i dont know how to check laptops graphic card. but anyway when i play basic games like mabinogi or latale it lags like crazy. i even have the gamebooster softwear to get rid of background tasks. that dosnt seem to help much. please someone gie me tips. this is windows vista btw

What he said wasn't even a graphics card, it's a processor. You have the default graphic card that typical laptops come with. But a bad graphics card won't effect Mabi or LaTale, which have very simple graphics.

type in device manager at the search bar thing that pops up when you click bottom left.

expand the 'graphic adapters' and you'll see your graphics card.

Windows XP Home Edition can't support 4 GB, BTW.

Well from what you said i can tell you dont know anything about pcs. So it could be a lot of things. Whats the brand of your laptop and the serial? You can look up the chipset it uses for graphics. Im not sure what guy was saying about "typical graphics card for laptops". A lot of laptops use the intel graphics media accelerator and the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M . Which are good enough for those games. Could be your connection, or you dont know what your doing and computer just runs bad.

Many computers come with Intel series express chipset for their display driver. So I was guessing that he mistook his processor for his card since both are intel. And maybe you have a virus. =/

What's the clock speed of your processor?
