You can choose these are a couple of the new races. Goat, Traego, Fish, Orc.
And there are some classes like, Nightwalker, Obeseranger, OnionKnight, Blackworker. So go and enjoy your journey : D. I would pick Obeseranger. |

dont mind the noobs who dont enjoy mindless time consuming ridiculous grinding for no apparent reason. You can enjoy suck features as no guild wars or decent pvp, mass pve, and uhhh you can buy cloths for real money
what more could u ask for? Oh and if u enjoy the company for 5 year old retards like myself, you gonna love maple weeee

I'll answer your question.
No races. Only human. As for classes there are 5 + 5. The 5 are the basic, warrior, mage, archer, theif, gunslinger. Each one can branch off to 2 cept warrior and mage branching off 3 times. With the new patch Knights of Cygnus. They added a whole new 5 classes based off the above mentioned however they are super strong and don't branch off. These Knights have a max cap of level 120. And the others have a max of 200. Don't expect getting 200 ever in your life time. Its possible but you won't get there. There is no PvP. Its solely off PvE. They have party quests which are super fun. Some tips - Make a mage if you don't wanna be bored. Or a throwing ninja star thief. If you make anything else, I guarantee YOU will quit. Try to make some friends in game cause its boring no one. Find some guides on making money and class guides. I suggest Hiddenstreet.net Other than that, its fun. The game is grindy as hell and CS isn't imbalanced however no one respects you without the CS looks. Also, don't play Maple cause you will quit the next day. Unless you are hyped and are gonna pay for Maple just don't bother. That is all. |

ok so maplestory isnt as bad as they all say. i mean sure its just a massive grind but if your into that then this might be your cup of tea. they also added the cygnus knight class. which has one of each the original classes and only levels to 120. its maplestorys class of Deathknights pretty much. but only adding 1 or 2 attacks.

Grind is not horrible, I mean before some of the patches, it took me 2 years on and off to get a warrior to 30 [sucky leveler.]
But in a week or so, I've gotten to 40. CS is a bit of a problem, because people will only thing of you as noob without it. If you do plan on playing, come to Mardia, people are pretty friendly for the most part, I know I am. |

i honestly dont see the point in CS. it makes your guy look cooler.... for 90 days. and then you have to spend actual money on getting them again. and they dont even give you stats. just make your guy look cooller.
