Default Xbox 360 problem

I'm not sure if this is the right place but anywhere here we go. Ok so I woke up an hour ago and wanted to play xbox. So I brought it upstairs hooked it up and plugged in my Ethernet cable, yadadada. Anyway so it wouldn't connect to xbox live so I figured it was my cable (which is probably was..) but to connect to another one I had to move it over.. so I turned it off and moved it over. After I moved my xbox over, and turned it on the sound came up but there was no picture being displayed. So I turned it off and unplugged and replugged everything, tried a different tv.. and its still not working. What the hell is wrong?

Plug everything in properly.
Make sure the switch isn't on HD MODE if you were using one and moved to an SD formatted T.V.
(That happened to me once ^^)

Sometimes my Xbox as a problem connecting to my ISP's DNS server. Try restarting your internet and see if that helps at all.

I'm using a standard A/V cable. Which has no HD option on it. I'm also hearing somewhat of a weird noise after a few seconds on the TV which is weird..
