This is pretty good, doesn't look as nice but a better price. And jesus...Really? You guys are too broke-*** to afford that? I'm 13, I bought my computer,all my game systems and I'm buying my own arcade cabinet(Like youd see at your local arcade) within a few days. I'm not some rich spoiled little brat and I just work for what I want. I wanted guitar hero world tour, I saved up 200$ for it which took less than a month.

Don't forget the newer cores, oh btw guys, sony is ACTUALLY making money from this revision, the production+ect cost around 250$ so they're profitting pretty well.

The 80GB also has Backwards compatibility, Other OS support and looks a lot more solid. I will still probably buy a Slim just for the ability to say I own one. About people complaining the price, WTF? First people said if it went down about $100 they would buy one it goes down $200 and people are saying that it should be cheaper?! Do you want Sony to give them away with every purchase of Big Mac?! I think people who are complaining about pricing are just mindless Microsoft drones designed to find any small flaw in the PS3.

At the current price its pretty damn well, now sony just needs to rework it's cells to a 32nm development proccess to lower the prices even LOWER!
Hopefully the PS4 will have a DX11 compatibility.

It's a new 65nm CPU fabrication proccess lowers heat+power req, while maintaining the same if not better performance.

But not for all games so if you have a game it can't play you are screwed. This is the one main reasons I didn't get one otherwise I'd have a PS3 now.

I have about 100 PS2 game and the 20 or so I have used in my PS3 have worked perfectly.(Except Ratchet Deadlocked which had a wierd graphical glitch when I switched weapons nothing major though.)

I still have my 2 old *** PS2's, the old one and slim, so I am soooo gunna gets the Slim PS3, but honestly, finally Sony is doing omega smart marketing and producing it around xmas, which is VERY smart. Plus Sony isn't as huge on accesories as Xbox, which is why I am preferring PS3 over Xbox, plus 100$ for a fking wifi adapter? ><(And of course free online DD)
