The father refused to allow their newborn son circumcised. When the boy's mother took matters into their own hands - and cut the boy's genitalia with a sharp object.

28-year-old Katherine Nadal is sentenced to 99 years imprisonment by a court in Houston, for serious child abuse, writes the news agency AP.

Under the ruling should be the parents fight over whether the boy would be circumcised or not and the father objected to this. Then Nadal have truncated the five-week-old boy, when he was in the parents' bed.

The mother told the hearing itself that she found her son in a large pile of blood when she woke up. She was the family dog Basset Shorty, as bitten the boy.
- I have failed my son, not kill him! she exclaimed before the Court of listeners.

The dog, however, had no traces of blood on himself

A drug test conducted in connection with the assault showed that the mother was under the influence of Xanax, methadone and cocaine.

The boy survived, but will have serious but for life. The genitalia cut off has not yet found
- She took his identity as a person and flushed it down the toilet or throwing it away in a trash can, "said the prosecutor made during the course of final argument.

However, with the long prison sentence, a conditional release of the mother does not become current until about 30 years.

So wait genitals automatically defines your Identity as a person?

It's sad for the kid but wow.....talk about a bad way to word something.

well it does define if you're a boy or a girl...

She fails so bad. Did she even realize that circumcision doesn't involve the cutting off of genitals?! Also he'll have a lot of problem growing up because he won't be able to produce testosterone .
