Im honestly starting to think this new arc is just gonna end as a story with morals and yadda yadda. Sure its nice that the zanpaktou learn how their shinigami feel about them but bah.....its just another filler.

I don't understand....
When did Ichigo get that power? I know that's what he looked like after he got out of the huge hole in Urahara's training place... but he has never looked like that since then. Even in his most desperate moments that doesn't come out... and this certainly isn't his most desperate moment.

its not a power, its what happens when the hollow side takes over. it happened when ichigo was training with the vizards

Zangetsu leaves ichigo.
He doesn't have the power anymore to supress the hollow in him.
the hollowfication starts.

In earlier episodes he used his bankai to supress the hollow in him, now he doesn't have zangetsu in him he can't go into bankai or even use his Vizard stuff or something like that xD

i wondered that too! and zaraki still has his in shikai form
