Edit: Everything mentioned seems to be EXTREMELY related to a detective VS a murderer just because that was how Deathnote set it up it doesent have to be that way.

It could be a chess format similiar to how Geass was set up, or anything with a more mental war. I highly doubt anything will top Deathnote in that way, it's amazingly quick paced yet has a war that keeps you thinking and watching things exactly like it might take me out of it.

Seeing as Higurashi sounds like an emotion+Mind****+ A good mental war I think Im going to DL it also.

OMG I also realized both stories the male had a power and the female was trying to figure out who he was !
