I know there used to be a way to toggle between the minimal view, like your first screenshot, and the advanced view, like your second, but I can't find it anymore. Maybe they took it out for some reason?

oh thats strange, u could be right though, maybe the items linked in chat showing detailed info is something they forgot to take out and your only suposed to view all info with R&D. that would make a little more sense. but i would kinda prefer a button like u say =p cause R&D only let u examine equips of 1 out of 3 item types.

some other dude in chat said he had all info showing in his inventory aswell so im starting to think its only for me =/

I had it like your second screenshot with everything. Inventory and all, during closed beta and the last few weeks of it. It's only open beta where I'm apparently stuck in minimalist view

Your second screenshot link is dead to me, so I can't see what you're trying to say... I haven't had a problem with tooltips showing in my inventory though.

Yeah, that happened I think the last week of CB. It is a bug, and eventually you will be able to see the full tooltip whenever they get around to fixing it.

they fixed it today, but a shitload of other things got bugged like rank advantage information and stuff
