Spice and Wolf is one of those anime that you are glad that exist. The writers give you one of the most incredible characters ever invented (Horo) and the series has such beautiful music and art. The first season may be kind of dull for some people but I really enjoyed it because of the characters, all the currency talk aside. The second season is a lot more dramatic and is very promising so far, I really like the direction its headed. I say you give it a go, you can't go wrong with Spice and Wolf.

My friend wants me to watch Martian Successor Nadesico.

I still haven't watch Darker Than Black, all of Baccano and all of Lodoss War.

I didn't like Darker Than Black mostly because I was left with a hundred questions after it ended. But a sequel is coming up (or is it airing already?) so that might solve some of my doubts... I hope.
