I had more fun in runescape than some of those nice looking free mmos, maybe because I was young. Idk but I had fun with it.

I agree.

I even liked the graphics.

It was funner than most client based MMOs in my opinion. It might still be...I'll check it out sometime again.

if someone asked about the PvP or PK. they changed all of that to a carebearish kind of deal.

I always think that one day (or one month really) I should get my hunting from 95-99... But it is a chore -.-

Anyway Runescape is a good game, but I'm not really sure if I want to go back.

They didn't, its back to the way the old wild was except you gain ''Drop potential'' from standing in the wild, this DP determines what drops you get when you kill your opponent. The person that dies loses all his equipment if he was skulled (attacked a player first) and keeps 3 of his highest value items if he was unskulled. They also introduced worlds were you can't use the protect item prayer and your automatically skulled when you enter the wild, so you lose all your items when you die.

Runescape's Pking is far from carebear since you lose all your items when you die.

EDIT; the drops are random, but these statues are dropped which can be traded for a static price, the highest being worth 5 million gp.

Totally killed it for me when they got rid of the wilderness and trading, It's just not the same anymore.. got rid of my 2 main ways of making money and my main source of fun

i dont know what the pvp is anymore, i havent gone back in a while. runescape is the way to go, for members, i think. coz in f2p after a while, you really will get bored.

To be honest, runescape is the best mmo out there, it has the most features like mining fletching fishing cookie smithing, essences, slaying, building, gardening, i played it for 4 years, mmo's only last me a couple of month's there nothing to do over than grinding now days, i want a game where you can fight, or just spend time getting your skills up, but meh owell, i might go back on it
