"Its been four days.. Four long, heartwrenching days. I think the rest of them are beginning to go insane. Being trapped here. This place is dark, cold, and it’s getting harder to survive. My heart aches, I killed her.. my wife, But what else could I do? She was going to kill me.. The infection got to her. Just like it got to so many others.

This all started because of that ****ing Dr.Bancroft. I don’t know what he did, but he ****ed up. This was supposed to be a medical breakthrough not a zombie apocalypse and now this town is ruined and who knows about the rest of the ****ing world..

Dr.bancroft was supposed to be creating a cure for cancer. He and his team worked for months, it was all over the news. And as far as the media was concerned it would change the medical world forever. My wife had cancer, it was getting worse by the day, chemo treatments weren’t working and the doctor said that she might have only a few months to live. What else could I do? Just let her die? As soon as we heard that the injection was going to be tested on humans I signed my wife up in hopes it would kill the cancer cells it was the worst mistake of my life.. The day had come and we went to go see Dr. Bancroft. To me and my wife’s surprise, they injected her and sent us home. We didn’t understand why they didn’t keep the patients there for further testing .

After we returned home, my wife was feeling faint and weak, so I laid her down to rest. After about a half hour I went to check on her, but something didn't seem right. She was very pale and didn't seem to be feeling any better. I went to go call Dr. Bancroft to see if there were any other side effects other than the minor ones he had told us about. There wasn't any answer. I went to go and check on her again, but she wasn't in the room. I turned around and out of no where my wife lunged at me wrapping her hands around my throat, trying to tell me something, but i couldn't understand. It was as if she wasn't speaking english, she couldn't say anything.. at all. It was like she was screaming, screaming for my help, but I didn't know what to do. Each second it seemed as if she started to get worse, her flesh starting to lose its pigment, it was worse than pale. Almost immediately after screaming for my help she came after me, like she was attacking me, trying to kill me.. I tried to run away but she just kept coming faster and faster. I didn't know what to do, so I ran to the kitchen and well.. I'm not even sure what exactly I grabbed, but I just started hitting her, trying to get her off of me, but it didn't work, so I swung harder, screaming for help... of course no one answered.. so finally I just hit her my hardest. She collapsed. I tried calling Dr. Bancroft again, but he didn't answer. I didn't know what to think, so I ran outside for help. To my surprise, the town was in total chaos... everyone who had been injected had the same side effects... something had gone wrong and I knew I had to get out of there.

As I was running down the street one of the injected patients came after me, he tackled me to the ground and I don't remember much after that. Now I'm here in the basement of an old,run down warehouse.. The soldier says he grabbed me before the patient could sink his teeth into me and brought me here. The soldier is definitely very strong. He also seems a little stupid.. maybe he injected too many steroids.. Then theres the thug.. he's a total asshole. Almost as if hes grown up in a bad place his whole life and tries to be tough. The medic seems too smart for her own good, but if anyones going to get us out of here, it's going to be her.

As far as a plan goes, we don't have one. We've boarded up the entire basement and are trying to survive off of minimal food and water.. we're going to have to get out there soon and find some more food or we're never going to survive..."

JOBS:

Survivor: Congratulations. Almost everybody you knew and loved are dead..or are they?
You had to shoot your best friend because he tried to tear you apart.
You're a lucky person, considering you've survived this long. You've found a small
group of others just like you. Choosing to stick together,or split up,could determine
the difference between life or death.Once you find the right materials,and train the right skills..perhaps you can find a job that will further help you survive.

Thug: You were always a bad person, and apparently everything
that's happened so far hasn't made you change your ways.
You only care about yourself and nobody else..these other survivors?
You'll probably just steal whatever they have once they rest..and then you'll run away again.You are the melee fighter of the survivors,using everyday items such as bats,crowbars,and even knives to their full advantage...although nobody should trust to have you around.

Medic: Your whole life has been devoted to helping others..and now they need you
more than ever. You are the most important person to any survivor, and carry a range
of medicines and other supplies with you to keep them alive. You'll
fight with anything,ranging from your bare hands to small guns.

Soldier: You want to do what you failed at doing before. You want to protect
everybody else. You've taken matters into your own hands..along with that
nice rifle of yours,too. You'll be in the frontlines of battle with the waves of undead,
and stop at nothing to ensure the safety of the others. You prefer to fight with big guns,
but if it comes down to it, you'll use anything else to your advantage.

What we need from you!

We're currently a two-man team working on the game.
We have Valostar working on sprites and graphic designs for the game, and BlahHx2 is coding. We need php and VB coders and plenty more spriters and graphics designers. We'll be working with VBGore as the base of the engine, but we plan on customizing it as much as we can/ need to. If you are interested in helping, leave a post here with some samples of your work, or pm me.

His post wasn't stupid, he's just saying that it's easy to have an idea, but it's a pain in the *** to actually make it.

Seriously, I would be more interested if it explained how the gameplay actually is, and how the combat is. Not background story that any zombie-lover with a bit of creative mind can write up. Or the general commonly-used classes.


As for post count, meh, I couldn't care less about my post count.
Already a member at my clan forum where I'm much much more active than this (almost 8k posts, and not a spam). I don't need a 2nd place to check every 10 mins.
