Default Gtx 260 psu?

I have a GTX 260.

And im getting a new PSU because i need more power..

Corsair 650TX

Antec TP750

They are the same price, it looks like TP 750 Has more amperage than the 650TX but it is multi 12v, while the 650TX has a single 12v.

Antec TP750 = 62A
Corsair 650TX = 52A

Which is better ? and better for future SLI?

There's a tech section for a reason I would be happier if this was posted there and you'd have better luck finding an answer.

Ontopic: Well, im not too knowledgeable about powersupplies/amperage/and rails, but i do know that a single 12v rail is better than having multiple rails. My instinct would bring me to choose the corsair above the antec (Just from the brand name), but... at the same time, i do like modular cables, and you should be able to sli fine with that Antic TP750, unless im wrong.

Yeah.. i pretty much restated your question in longer words lol.

PC Power and Cooling/Seasonic is another good brand you might wanna look into.

PS: If you're buying the Antec psu you better decide quick, the ANTECAUG $10 off promo ends in an hour or so.

Hmm.. it might be pushing it but
A simple search i made in google brought up a few topics
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/25...ir-650w-enough
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/265066-33-help

It'll probably depending on what CPU your using and how OC'd it is
EDIT: just read your sig lol

THen again this person with a core 2 do says he could sli the gtx 260's with only a 620w corsair

Well my CPU is in stock speed.
its actually locked in bios so i cant do anything about it.

So will it be a good choice to pick Antec TP750 to get on the safer side?

The antec should be able to handle them, and it would be safer choice, but if it was me buying the purchase, i would up my budget just a tad bit and buy like a 750 corsiar.

GAH the antec's fine

Both can handle SLI, just that the Antec has a few more cables. I've seen many people run GTX 260 SLI on their 650W Corsair. Also, multi-rail is for stability, while single rail is for people that would like to run multiple powerful stuff without the mess of figuring out which cables go to which rail. So, if your CPU cable goes to rail 1 on a multi rail PSU, and your GPU goes to the same rail, and the rail can only produce 20A, which is about average, but your parts take, say 25A, it will overload the rail. But on a single rail, it's all to one giant rail.

/\ this

also, this here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006 This here has the same watts as the antec, but uses a single rail and is cheaper.

I would suggest going with the corsair 750TX just to be on the safe side if your planning to go with the single rail. The 650 should handle SLI, but you would be cutting it close.
