Hey guys, I'm looking for something new to play. I was hoping for something 2d or 2.5d with a top down view and combat system similar to Diablo 2, partly because my computer sucks and partly because everything feels incredibly awkward for mmos in 3d.

I don't have many specifics, but I'd like something that isn't so bright and bloom covered that it'll blind me, unlike a lot of mmos these days. Thanks for any suggestions.

There is a game on Uforia called Red War, (but i heard it sucks) might want to check that out for a hack and slash game.

there is alot of games 2d but none really like diablo , or you may try world of magic online

maybe DarkEden online? it's 2d isometric type of game. pretty fun. 3 races, there are race wars constantly.

It's really nothing like D2, but if it's 2D MMORPGs you seek, Ultima Online would be the top on the list. Check out http://www.uodemise.com/ website. Its undoubtedly my favorite UO Free Shard.
