Default An afordable acoustic guitar

Im looking for something in a price range of 200$ since im nowhere near good.

i know that acoustics uses the space for sound quality but i prefer slim ones for portability. brand names ive been looking at is yamaha.

i dont care if its used and off of ebay, as long as its good for a beginner

i want to nail acoustics before the electric since itll be a breeze

try a Epiphone PR-150 Acoustic Guitar , I guess its a great guitar for beginners , try guitar center .com under 200, best sellers, read the reviews.

EDIT: its 130$ guitar by the way, also Epiphone is great, imo

Try craigslist, you may deal with some shady people but if you find a good seller you can get a good guitar for pretty cheap.

I agree with craigslist. I was going to buy a drum set using that, till I remembered my brother works at best buy, and I could use his discount at the best buy music store.

But I really like the Ovation guitars. The backs are kinda rounded and stuff just easier to hold my friend has one I like it a lot.

epiphone aj100 isnt a bad choice
also a fender C20
if you were willing to spend 300 you could get something with a solid top

ima suggest an ovation as well. its got this cool fibreglass back, thats all rounded and stuff. makes a really good sound. but i've only ever seen really expensive ones though. but its a great acoustic buy. im still using the one i got 5 years ago (i think), whenever i need to use an acoustic on stage.

anyway, Just go to your local music store and ask them. If you say your budget is $200.-, they will likely get the best one for you.

Yamaha guitars around that price are nice as well
you want a big body so it has more sound unless your getting an electric acoustic but then you would need an amp
