Gears 1 was way better than two. Gears 2 basically turned into a camp and spray when it shouldhave been a run n gun like its predecessor.

So... can I connect the 360 to my modem with an ethernet cord? I have 4 ethernet slots on it (well, 3 as my computer uses one).

The fan is somewhat useless its only good if its near an area where the heat can not get out dont put t near a wall and keep it off rug and put it side ways not upwards

You can GoW1 pretty cheap now and in my opinion it's much better than the 2nd one.
Halo 3 isn't a great game but it is a must buy as it still has a huge online community at this time of writing it says unique players (last 24hours) 659K.
Also CoD4 will probably come cheap soon, and the campaign is great so you buy it before MW2 comes.
I wouldn't get the OB on 360 if your PC can run it as TF2 gets no updates on 360.

Games I would recommend just for single player;
Mass Effect,
Bioshock,
GTA4 and FEAR 1&2.

Also don't buy the fan.

Yes, you can.

I been looking to purchase a new bundle for the 360. You should look into the 360 Elite bundle with Halo 3 and Fable 2. At least you get some extras and one game you have on your list.

Why would you do this? The ps3 is better in terms of price and value.It's the same price and has full hdmi+free multiplayer.

NHL games are surprisingly fun on the 360 with the skill stick and all that. I'd suggest getting one (probably 10 as it's coming out in less than two weeks), as their multiplayer is loads of fun. I pretty much hate ice hockey but for some reason I enjoy the games.

It was my experience that the online connections on the ps3 were kind of poor. Laggy with people disconnecting a lot. Its been a year since i had my ps3 so maybe its improved but i have had better connectivity with Xbox live.
