I'm A LOT into Folk/Viking metal. I love it.
I also like my metal with some balls. I LOVE Power/Speed(Dragonforce excluded)
And lastly, I highly dislike everything that ends with "-core" because to me it sounds like a 15 years old filled with teenage angst was getting ear-banged by a plastic teddy bear genitals.
I like Melo-Death, but dislike Brutal/Pure Death metal(Cannibal Corpse and scuh)

Listen up, Dio, barely any of the bands you've posted so far have been metal. AT ALL. My Chemical Romance is CERTAINLY not, and neither is Atreyu. All you've been posting is crappy hardcore/deathcore bands. The closest thing to metal IS Atreyu, and they're metalcore.

Obviously you're confused, so let me help you out: if you don't open your ears, you will never BE metal, never LOVE metal, you will never KNOW metal. There is a strict difference between what you've posted, and what are actual metal bands. There are so many easy, EASY ways to find out the type of music those bands play, but you choose to be ignorant and remain adamant about your (utterly blasphemous) 'musical knowledge'. You don't want to be proven wrong, because the posters in that thread had been nice about it, before they started trolling, and you consistently ignore them in favor of your SUPREME ENLIGHTENMENT OF ALL THAT IS METAL. I wanted to be nice, I really did. Lots of people make mistakes. But those people who make mistakes and consistently deny those mistakes are undeserving of my kindness.

First of all, you're ignorant. Extremely ignorant. I think you were one letter short of the Hot Topic Forums (H comes after G, you see?). Those guys there would probably agree with you on everything you and your loyal follower (forget that guy's name) have said so far, minus the pink font bashing because everyone knows: pink is metal. There's some real metal for you, too, by the way. Think you can handle that?

Somehow, I think I'm being trolled. No one could possibly think MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE are metal. There's a very clear distinction between even what YOU posted and claim to be metal and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! VERY CLEAR! That deaf, dumb and blind kid who sure plays a mean pinball could tell you that.

You can't tell me you share a passion for anything if you do not actually KNOW anything about that particular thing. I won't believe you. And maybe that doesn't matter to you, but believe me, when you've been called out over the internet about something that's SO EASILY CLARIFIED WITH A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH, maybe it still won't matter, but at least the seed of doubt will be planted and you'll feel like a total n00b in the back of your mind.

Certain extreme metal musicians have murdered people, burned down churches, desecrated grave sites, avidly expressed (and acted upon) anti-Christian notions and values, and among other things, made necklaces from pieces of their recently suicided bandmate's skull, sending them out to bands they felt were 'true' (true metal). The collective intellect of every single member of almost all the bands you posted in that other thread could never wrap their heads around such acts of pure, for lack of a better word, obscene extremism. In addition, their fans are too busy being at war with invisible adversaries to notice the extreme lack of talent in those bands as compared to actual metal bands, whose songs are not comprised of one, long breakdown punctuated by an intermittent chorus sung by a white, pubescent, likely gender-confused T-Pain impersonator with an abrupt transition into what could be expected to be found on a Cascada or Basshunter album.

Lastly, take a look over at Metal Archives to read up on the metallic properties (or rather, lackthereof) of 90% of the so-called 'metal' bands you will go on to list, and then cry yourself to sleep, ashamed and disillusioned. But don't cry too hard; I have to get up early tomorrow. And remember, even though I totally just pwned you, the internet is not srs business.
