Well - I recommend Heroes of Gaia, just because it has some strategy (think Atlantica if you've never played a turn-based, tile/hex-based strategy) and because I like to think PBBSGs are better for your mental health than PBBRPGs.

If you liked War of Dragons; try Nodiatis. It has more roleplay (with skills being in-depth). The War of Dragons plot had too much angryness for me.
