Rio Lee thanks for the answers. And yes it was somewhat obvious that Pandora was a Japanese MMO (with its typical JP anime character design style) and Shaiya a Korean one (with its heavy grind exp system). I will definetely try it as I was always wanted to play the Pandora but never tried.

there was an Arcadia Saga talk show yesterday at Tokyo Game Show.

The date for 2nd closed beta is 15/10/2009 - 17/10/2009

Do you know how to join the beta? Dont see any cbt signup buttons.

Btw to bad it will be another class based system unlike UO, but at least there will be a tamer class. Hopefully you can sell animals like horses to other players and get filthy rich. (played UO Tamer for 5+ years) ^^

They haven't started recruiting yet. I'll post here when they do.

Unfortunately classless mmorpg is unheard of over here in Japan. Heck this game currently have a Free for all everywhere count PVP, and gotten non-stop bashing from the japanese in 2chan. I like this game pk system. If I see a bot or a gold farmer, I can just go and kill em right away, no need to report etc. And get their items too as a bonus. Man, I wanted to grief those idiots for so long, you know those who spams the chat window with " SELLING 100mil gold for $19.99!!! ". PK wait for respawn PK again rinse and repeat.

Actually its one of the tamer job to sell pet

since other class don't have the skill to catch them only tamer can. And horses will probably in high demand, since it will be one of the mountable pet in the game.

Yeah, 80% of the bashing is about pk, they don't want pk at all or make a pk and a non-pk server etc. 20% is bashing the dev and gonzo, because in every gonzo's game the cash shop price is freaking high and very cash shop reliant.

Played the korean Lineage2 and Aion betas and never got pked, not even attacked. Is there more pvp on japanese servers?
I think they should be happy not to play on EU or US ones.

But i would create pve servers so more ppl play it. There are always ppl that dont like pvp but i would want their money too. ^^

About the cashshop prices, even if i could by stuff from japanese cash shops, i wouldnt do it. I dont play f2p games to put my money into them.
But on the other hand some ppl are even paying for browsergames. Maybe i should make my own browsergame to get rich...

I wonder if they will look at the ips of the participants, maybe i should use a vpn or proxy to sign up.
