Damn it, sdk did not help... Now ill try reinstall...

Now i reinstalled the game but the login screen still has a black background instead of looking like this

Only the 2d UI is visable, everything 3d is black.

Never seen black before, white, a couple of times. (if its white, the map object failed to load.)
Dunno whats wrong. Maybe upgrading your graphics card driver will help?

Had cataclyst 9.8 and updated it already to the lastest (9.9) without solving the prob. Also have the newest directx sdk and language for nonunicode progs set to japanese of cause.

I don't know why but my login information won't work anymore. Not on the site, not on the game. Did I have to active the account or something before?

You should be able to login with the ID and pass fromyour mail, strange...

Seriously no idea >.<. Whats your patcher ver said? Currently it should be 1.0051.
the size( not the size on disk ) of the data folder 655 MB (687,805,220 bytes) 60 files 25 folders.

Same version, same size and number of files. Ill copy it to my other PC later and will see if it works with my GF 7600GT. At the moment i use my laptop with Mobility Radeon 3470 X2.

On my other comp its the same like on my laptop, black background at the login screen...
My notebook runs WinXP 32bit SP3, my desktop pc win7 64bit. Both AMD CPUs btw.

Even with the new patch its still not working...

I will reinstall it (dled the installer again). Every time i start the installation a message pops up before i continue the process.
Can you tell me what it says?

It just say close your anti virus appli and other application that are currently running.

There's cases that some anti-virus report a false negative.

Anyway,
