This came up in our guild today, so wanted to see what everyone thought was the best capital. My personal favorite is Ironforge, but maybe i'm biased because i play dwarves a lot lol.

But Ironforge is just awsome imo for world pvp ect. And oh the shenanigans thats goes on in ironforge on my realm

but this brings a question to my mind.are ally cities more lively/pretty then horde ones?in my 2-3 yrs of playin ive only been horde so this is a serious question.i made an ally on a diff server when mine was down a few days ago and i went to darnasses or w/e and stormwind and the traveling,boats,etc (not to mention the towns itself) looks more lively and beautiful to me...kinda makes me wanna lvl a high lvl ally but i just cant.

You've never been to Ironforge =O. But theres dwarves..... and tinkertown..... and beer..... and shenanigans Oh and of course all the secrets behind Ironforge

And yes ally cities are more lively and imo have better design if i can say that. However my favorite horde city is thunderbluff , i've raided it a lot with my guild, and i like that the whole city is like a totem pole.

edit: btw ally isn't that bad, you should at least give it a try when cataclysm comes out on a good ally server.

most people on my server goes to IF for pvp bg arena chat and stuff that like the most crowd zone darn/exo is dead sw alittle but IF is cool

meh i thought bout faction changing my be dk into a worgen dk just cause i <3 werewolves but decided against it due to my guild,friends,gf asking me not to.i might still roll a worgen but i wont take it past their starting area.

Eh i'll probably race change or faction change into one of the new races. Worgen druid seems to be really cool. Even if i faciton switched to a goblin, i will still have like 2 80's in my guild to raid with them.

edit: and ya even if i don't faction change im still gona roll both a worgen and a goblin to try out the new world.They said they redid the leveling, i want to try it out tbh. By the end of the next xpac i will have eventually rolled both a goblin and worgen to lvl 85 anyway lol.

actually SW seems to be a lot more populous on illidan.

I actually think the horde cities are a lot more detail oriented and more interesting the the ally counterparts.

darnassus silvermoon org and UC have a high amount of attention to detail.

Incedentally i chose silvermoon. It is an immaculate city and the dev's spent a lot of time on it.

Org was a close second, i <3 org so much.

I actually thought org and undercity lacked a lot of texture quality, but silvermoon easily has the most amount of detail out of any city. It's a very impressive city actually, i just don't like the lay out of all the places. And theres so much red
