My 2 weeks break is almost up and since HoN is being released into b2p soon, I won't have anything to play. (Not allowed to order stuff online) So I was was considering whether or not to buy Guild Wars and was wondering if anyone can answer some questions about GW.

1. What's the gameplay like? Is it like your average korean grinder with the click to attack and hot keys for skills?

2. Hows the community? GW is pretty old now so is there anyone left?

3. Content? Or is it just a grind.

4. Hows the grind? I don't plan to play much after the 2 week break so I'm wondering if its worth it.

And don't bother saying "wtf go google it n00b" beside like most onrpg, I'm lazy =D. Also, any extra information about the game would be appreciated.

1.WASD controls, you cannot put the word level grind and guild wars in the same sentence... that's called blasphemy. AND THE GAME WASN'T MADE BY KOREANS SO STOP BEING RACIST.

2.Community is still good, still has a few hundred thousand people playing last time I checked.

3.Content? It's a story driven game, and if you're a "completer" you'll probably enjoy collecting all the titles for your character. Grind? read 1 again.

4. Seriously why are you asking about grind in almost every single number? It's just retarded. :/

just follow the storyline and all the quests and you will lvl up there is no grind at all....

Put it this way, this is the only mmorpg i have managed to stick to till the end game and i have played a lot of mmo's. coh, lineage2, RF online, loooads

@ thread. I have the same opinion than liaght. Some of your questions are really a little bit stupid and if you really want some information about guild wars...use the internet or some old articles around this board. To say that you are lazy is just a way to show us that you are really a "wtf go google it n00b".
I am lazy too but when i really want to know something. I use google or other things. its really fast and you dont need to wait for some answers + you can pass threads like that

level 20 still takes a good while to get their and then the game isnt even complete then.

Not complete? What makes you say that?

How long it takes to get to lvl 20?
Prophecy- less than 48 hours
Nightfall- around 48 hours total
Factions- less than 24 hours

Not hard to get to max in this game.

I would like to know how this game is not complete.

I think he was refering to unlocking all awards area's etc getting to lvl 20 does not mean the game is completed.

lol !!! you only think about max lvl in gw its different, once you get till lvl 20, the game just starts
