Champions wont die. As much as I hate that game right now, Cryptic studios is known for actually listening to their players (which is what got them into the big stupid mess in the first place). The problem is they were taking suggestions from WoW-midn-set players and not CoH/V mind set players. So the already crappy game turned into an even more crappy game. But if they are smart they will listen to the good ideas.
Everyone in CoH/V was hyped to try this game. Everyone that got into beta talked about how get it was on their first day. After that, it just sucks. But I personally believe cryptic can save it. If they can't no one can. Crimecraft is a crappy game too. Its just a stiff shooter. I thought this would be something near APB, but its not. It probably wont die either because people generic stiff shooter games. Browser games will never die unless the people that play them and make them die. Theres a large number of people that enjoy text based games. I'll never understand it myself. As for world of warcraft, that will never die, but I just wish people would realise that WoW is not that great of a game. Its a generic game that only popular because it go a large advertisement budget that mmos in the western world never get. If a crappy game like craft had the money WoW did to spend on advertising, it'd be even more popular. Most people that play WoW dont realise that WoW is not the first of its kind. Anyone that has called any game a WoW clone is retarded. There was one post on this site someone made stating that a certain game was a WoW clone when it had been out years before WoW probably even an idea. So its my hope that the idea of WoW being awesome dies in 2010. But I know it wont, because WoW players dont read long posts like this.

C9 even though it's terribly anticipated, the gameplay at first is amazing, but easily gets dull after awhile and very repetitive. Also the world seems small, and the dungeon system is really confining and lonely.
Of course this can be fixed with going in with party members, but I prefer doing things on my own but still having player interaction every now and then while fighting. I know I'm totally going to be wrong, but just imo aside from the neat skills and movement system the game is very generic and doesn't have much to offer

Well I don't think C9 will die that soon but I agree with the stuff you said about it. C9 is great at first impression but it's lacking something.
C9 kinda reminds me PSO i.e you make you party (in a town you can see all players) then you go in instanced maps. But PSO had much bigger maps and had a feeling of adventure/exploration. C9 is only linear fighting. I'm just comparing the coop-rpg part, of course beside that they are 2 different games o.o' Edit: ugh sorry got a bit off topic xD |

I don't think any game will die till 2010,
it's almost octobah. Anyways, I think lots of games will "die" when the new FF comes, and GW2
