I recently made an 85 Orb Sorc but I think I fugged it up so I started a new Sorc. I'm planning to make it a Blizz Sorc. Trying to get my Grush finished. I'm currently in NM Act 3 @ level 1.

I suck at the game. I tried MFing with my 85 but I don't think she was doing too well.

I found a sword with 84% MF, Green Shield with about 20% MF, rings and Amulets with 15-20% MF and I think some MF% on my Gloves or Boots.

I've only been able to do NM Andy and Meph. I can take down NM Diablo but I have to do circles around him when he does his breathing fire thing to avoid it or it kills me pretty quick and it takes a while to bring him down so I never bother with him. I can do Baals Minions but I sometimes I run into trouble with the Chain Lightning and Ice Blast Mobs so I rather not risk dieing to them.


Stats

Strength - 75 or 80
Dexterity - 50
Vitality - 345
Energy - Base


The guide I was using said to only have 50 points in Strength but I didn't have enough +Str in my Gear to use what other gear I wanted at the time so I put more points into it. Plus another guide I read said to put 135 points (If I remember right) into strength and to get 75 points in Energy.

8 Ice Bolt
5 Charged Bolt

1 Frozen Armor, Shiver Armor, Ice Blast, Frost Nova, Glacial Spike, Telekenisis, Static Field, Lighting, Chain Lighting, Teleport, Energy Shield


I put 5 into charged bolt early on because I thought i'd have enough points to make a Chain/Orb Sorc.

Looks like I should have put the 20 points from Blizz into Ice Bolt for the 15 %'s and the 4 points from Charged Bolt somewhere in the Cold Tree.


So is it my gear? my level? or did I do my skills/stats wrong?


I'm also having no luck with learning the market. I don't know what to look for or where to look to find things that I can trade to other players. I want an Enigma for my Bowazon and whatever else is ideal gear but I have no idea how to go about getting it.

why only a 8 into frozen bolt it adds dmg to frozen orb....if you an orb sorc so no need for 20 blizzard only do 20 orb 20 bolt 20 mastry the rest put into tele (to make it cheaper) and warmth to maybe help out on the cost of pots.(or in for warmth then a secondary ice skill)

I started playing again but I'm on USEAST.

Meteorb sorc here; best bet is to just concentrate on NM meph (NM andy if you want sojs). Make a 4 sock ptopaz armor, get a shako if you can if not then another MF helm would do (tarn helm maybe), you already have an ali baba (or could use a gull dagger) so keep that on weapon swap for the kill. Think your using milabrega's shield; that's ok on swap too with baba; possibly want like a rhyme shield instead; easy to make. Keep doing NM meph until you get goldwrap and/or tals belt, chance guards, war travs (think he can drop) etc. If you can handle it later do Eldritch the Rectifier in Hell at the Frigid WP; easy to kill and can drop pretty good.

Just keep mfn, trading and upgrading gears.... then you'll probably want to make a hammerdin for mfn because they can handle pretty much everything if you have the gear.

As for stats; enough str to use whatever gear you want, enough dex for max block with whatever shield your using and rest vit.

Skills seem ok I guess; I haven't made a blizz sorc in 2 years though.

You should try and use d2jsp forums for trading (they have price guides); can trade for their forum gold which can be used for not only d2 but other games; there or use diabloii.net forums (now known as diii.net) for regular trading.

Here's another question... Should I buy another set of keys of D2+Xpac so I can rush myself? I'm getting a bit impatient with looking for games to join to get rushed.

Nah. Just look for the right rooms. Free rush. Rush for forge. Act1-5

Your gear should be:
Tal Rashas Armor with Ist rune, Tal Rashas Belt, Tal Rashas Amulet.
1x stone of jordan ring. 1x perfect nagel ring.
perfect chance guard gloves
perfect war trav boots
shako with an ist rune.
perfect occy with ist and spirit monarch.

3x +1 cold gcs, 1x high stat sorc torch, 1 anni, and add some 7% mf sc's.

for switch, Perf BO Cta with Spirit Monarch.


Skills-
Max blizzard and all the syenergys for it.
1 into tele and 1 into static.


you should be set for PERFECT MFing.

Yea that's pretty ideal but by like in my case I'm going to ditch my sorc after I have ideal hammerdin gear.... even though I hate the class it's much more versatile then any sorc build.
