Shadowtale (Actually has graphics)
I havn't played a whole lot, but it's not a shitty text based game, so it should be quite decent, it look's good. It's ALOT like adventure quest, except you move with WASD or arrows and attack with X or click.
[EDIT] Wow, after playing this for a bit it's actually quite good, it's actually an MMORPG, NOT singleplayer, it also has classes and such. www.shadowtale.com

Well, I've tried that now and non premium storyline ends more or less on level 8. After that, if you don't pay, you can only grind, grind, grind, grind. But it hasn't got some external server so everything is through TCP Port 80 (http) so you can plpay it anywhere (school, office, etc)
