Ignorance.

The WHO, an agency of the UN, eradicated smallpox. Smallpox has, over the course of history, killed more Human beings than any other disease ever.

Functionally useless? Hardly. Even if there's a bunch of wet-bagel (I mean, what do you do with a wet bagel? Nothing. It's useless. A wet bagel is useless) politicians sitting in a big auditorium, there's still agencies like the WHO that still get out there and do stuff with mandates from those wet bagels in suits.

I don't care for this thread very much. Only conspiracy that I believe is the 9/11 one.

Obama's a good guy, but conspiricists act like everyone's the devil besides themselves... so yeah.

A toaster that can't toast is functionally useless even if you can use it as a paperweight.

The UN's primary mission is to promote world peace and harmony. Curing smallpox is admirable but I was referring mainly to how world powers casually ignore or refuse to enforce UN resolutions. Also the UN's enforcement power is predicated on member state participation. So what we're left with is wet bagels telling people what they should do.

No, what we're left with is an organization that saved hundreds of millions of lives and stopped the greatest disease that Human kind had ever faced.

Cut it however you want, their political uselessness and everything the UN is a magnificent organization.
