Just checked the site today to see if there was any new updates and saw this in the developer blog, which i'm quite excited about as my account was disabled for using runescape classic even though i prefered it to the updated version.
What are your thoughts about this?

I don't think it will be worth all of the time and money to even make the changes, or to rent one. Most people have just become so used to the systems in RS2 that they will only play for the cheats, get bored, and then leave.

Runescape Classic was awesome....But it's not worth bringing back...They should just put it back up to all players, and all players that want to play it can play it....What they should really spend there time doing if perfecting the gawd damn PvP system -___-!

I'd say it would be better if there were certain servers where on RS2 you can cheat. But not Classic.

They just shouldn't do it at all lol. That what "Private Servers" are for lol. They don't condone them, but now they want to let people *cheat* on Runescape Classic?

Lol, Runescape classic was where we all autoed. You can auto on this new runescape but its more detectable. Auto Rune in 2003 killed jagex by duping the party hats. Now with all the money jagex have made and progress since 1999 its is near impossible to auto to a decent level without being banned for macroing. Rsc privet servers rock!
