Rofl. Like I said, just throwing 'em out. My aunt got her nursing degree from UTHSC, and she seems to be doing aight. I went to Southwest Medical about a year and a half ago for a work installation, and it seemed like a cool place, even though I don't know what the programs are like.

Wow, over here, Nursing is one of the easiest courses to enroll in, haha.

It's not easier. I'm currently a Biomedical Sciences Major on the Pre-Med route at Texas A&M and it's MUCH harder to not only get in to the Biomecical School but to also stay in it. The Nursing school(s) are fortunately/unfortuntately (depending on how you view it) much easier to get in to and stay in.

I don't know much about UT Nursing, only their Medical stuff. It's one of the Medical schools I want to attend after graduation. I do know Texas A&M started a Nursing program 1-2 years ago and it's been growing pretty quickly.

I've also decided to have Gabriel change my username to StriWonder, when he gets a chance.

Nursing?

I always just assumed that the best and brightest wanted to be doctors, not nurses. Guess I was wrong.

Even if you don't get in on "auto admission" you still have a very competitive chance to get in right? Top 3% is no easy feat, congrats.

Here in the UK they actually pay you to learn nursing. You get a weekly allowance while you train. It's quite a decent amount too.
