Default Hunter or Rogue for me? help me

So i have a rogue lvl 22 (combat)and i find it very hard to survive. Too many aggros around the world, 3-4 attacks me and i die instantly, impossible to do the lvl 20-22 quests, very hard to play.

I made a Hunter, i'm level 14 with him, i like attacking from range while my pet tanks, it makes me feel safe. Its just hard to control the pet and myself if 4-5 mobs attack him or me, don't know what to do.

Any tips on improving my gameplay would be nice, i find this game much more harder to play than any mmo i played.

Ironically. I found hunter too easy and it annoyed me to no end. But. I love the challenge of rogue. Rogue does require alot of stradegy and ability learning. What to use when. But rogue is awesome later on but sucks at low level. If you buy some evade or agility gear. It will help.

Or change your talent spec. I liked subelty. I havent died once as subelty unless im in a group of morons anyways.

Hunter should be pretty easy to level with. Your probably doing something wrong, or just not paying attention to your surroundings. When your leveling a hunter just go beastmaster, and it's really easy. At lvl 80 it will balance out and your rotations will get bigger when you switch to survival/mm.

Rogue on the other hand is probably one of the hardest at low level , especially if you don't have a higher lvl to buy nice gear and stuff. You can keep going with him, just make sure that your only taking one at a time.

Only advice i would give is try not to aggro more then 1 mob.

Oh and as for handling your hunter pet, it should be really easy. They simplified the pet system by alot in lich, before it was a little more complex. But really all you should have to do is tame a bear or some other pet from the tenacity tree. Then Set your pet to defensive, and follow on the pet bar. Also make sure growl is on auto cast and cower isnt. To turn something on the pet bar to auto cast right click it and it will start doing a little flashing thing around it. You can turn all offensive abilities to auto too.

Then simply attack something you wanna kill and your pet will attack it. Oh and another tip ctrl+1 commands your pet to attack your target. So if another mob starts attacking you while your pet is away, target the one attacking you and hit ctrl+1 and your pet will come to the rescue =P

edit: Oh and for when you get too many mobs on you and your pet, you will soon get a ability called feign death. This is like the "oh shit " button. Your hunter plays dead, and all mobs will treat you as if your dead, ignoring you. But they will keep attacking your pet. So jsut feign death and let your pet die, and u just saved yourself a death.

Hunter seems perfect for you.

I love Cloud13 more than anything in the world, though. His Magic...rawr

I've also decided to have Gabriel change my username to StriWonder, when he gets a chance.

There are two kinds of Rogues: Good and Bad ones. It's painfully obvious to tell the difference between the two, unfortunately. I'd love to give you my Rogue (Uld 25/Toc 25 geared) for a day and let you see if you could break the minimal DPS or not. It's not exactly "like so easy".

Granted, WoW itself isn't exactly rocket science, but in general for most classes the lines between a good and bad player is usually quite noticable.

Stick with hunter until you learn the game more. (it's the number one choice for Chinese farmers :S)

really and do you have any proof to back up your claims?

because i can tell you right now an affliction warlock will farm a shitload better then a hunter can.

also to the OP.

asking us is well no offense its pretty stupid imo.

the only way your going to enjoy the game is by figuring out stuff like which class suits you, do you like pvp or pve, what spec do you prefer.

these are all things you must figure out on your own.

peoples opinions don't mean jack when it comes to your enjoyment of a game because we aren't you, we have different views and opinions and our tastes in games will be alot different.

so in short, the best choice is to make your own decision.

There's videos on YouTube about it a think and plus I have plenty of personal encounters with hunters with a random name like "hgddfjuf" in one spot for three days straight and not replying to tells or emotes etc. Plus getting 2-3 levels a day grinding alone.
