Some people get lucky and have their 360 last until the end of time. Most don't.

Only a small percentage of them have broken down (less than 10%), and since the newer versions with the Foxconn motherboard came out 2 years ago that percentage has decreased to about 3%. They are not as bad as everyone thinks, it was just blown WAY out of proportion.

Meh gonna throw my 360 against the wall and see if there is any candy in there.

But no seriously....I'd say at least 180$ - 200$. Try a pawn shop before you try Gamestop.

Did Microsoft say that? I've heard bigger numbers, initially it was like a 30% failure rate :S.

But yeah, Gamestop won't give you the full value, regardless of your quality.

You-->Middle Man (Gamestop)--->Buyer

You-->Buyer (via. Craigslist).

It depends,how many handles how many games is it elite how used is it.
Ive went through 3 xbox 360's but they get played alot and the room is ussualy smokey. reason why they redlight is mainly becouse it over heats and seperates the motherboard from the processer, alls it needs is to be reconnected through dangerous ways that could ruin your xbox360.But my last xbox 360 is lasting good but i only allow 3 hours straight on it at max.

I wouldn't expect more than $200. They always buy like consoles/games at 50-75% of the price they sell it for. I sold my SP and I got like $20, then they sold it at $75...Also, why not just sell it on ebay?

Not gonna pay that much for shipping. Rock Band Drums, Guitars, and the System. It would cost like $75
