He means to say that if someone is borderline flaming (not blatently going "U ASSHOLE") then they get a warning. It's exactly what Xeno says: They are used as reminders, even if you don't break a rule but get close to it.

If we gave out warnings just for someone saying "Happy Birthday!" in a birthday thread, it would be a lot more obvious, and said moderator would have either been grounded or expelled.

So I'd suggest keeping your hate of moderators to yourself. This is a suggestions and feedback forum. If you have feedback for us, you're welcome to say it. But keep in mind that senseless bashing for the sake of bashing is not feedback.

Still don't see why saying a phrase in jp is considered an infraction "...... doesn't seem fair lol

You should had done that in the first place(even if onrpg didn't say so), cause most forums always have rules like these(thats right, you should provide a translation on everyforum).

and for about mod giving out warning for posts not breaking the rules, because it's some1 doing troll flame biting or borderline flaming or is actually really a post that means little or no harm.

My response to that is...the user will usually strike back with complaints because they them selfs and possibly other forum users, see the post as harmless. So they might argue back and forth in PM with the mod(s), and end up getting a proper warning/infraction for insulting a mod etc. etc.
then they get pissed, starts a fit on the forum...and proceeded with a ban :P
It becomes a huge ugly mess...but I'm not gonna go on about it, or else I might end up getting a warning...

I think this explain lot that some people hates the moderators. Why can't they just be nice or be friendly to others. I dont really care if your a moderator get a life do something else or get a real job at least.
