Laurel walked calmly down the street, enjoying the wet weather with a complaining but still hyper Lumina jumping in circles around her.
c'mon Laurel, tell me where we're going! the tiny wolf said, rushing around her. Laurel sniffed the air.
"do you smell that?"
Smell what? All I smell is rain! the little wolf lowered her ears, crouching and sniffing hard. I still don't smell anything! she whined, giving up her search and looking back at Laurel
"something's just not right." she said, scooping up her avatar and absently stroking her head.

The two rounded the corner to the building that served as a base for the rebels. Two sets of bright green eyes fell upon the bloody forms outside the building, they took it in and then they looked at each other.
what is that!? Lumina jumped out of Laurel's arms and began circling the forms, skipping through the company that had gathered outside of the base
"they need help" Laurel said, rushing towards them. "Lets get them into the base" she said, but the little wolf eyed the large avatar doubtfully.
"Just help them" she growled, and Lumina immediately helped push the large Ox up while Laurel carried the human into the base.

((Too true, too true.))

Kilaede flowed smoothly from one position to another as the water fell from the sky. Kilaede, Raecar said in his deep, yet soothing voice, A meeting was called for over an hour ago, we should leave.
"Don't worry Raecar!" The boy laughed, "If I'm the only one who hasn't turned up then you can use me as a rug!" He didn't even pause his martial arts forms as the water washed away some of the mud that constantly filled his hair.
Why do you insist on learning these fighting styles, when you have me? Raecar asked of his companion.
"This is so I can use the power better, besides why do you ask that so often? It will always be the same answer," Kilaede reponded. After a couple more minutes Raecar began to push Kilaede as he practiced, knocking him off balance and into the mud.
"Hey!" Kilaede shouted at his partner.
It is time to leave here, and return to the base. The great bear said laughing at the mud covered being before him, Now come! With these final words he grabbed Kilaede's shirt in his mouth and dragged him back towards the building they called "Base". As they drew near there seemed to be a commotion as a boy fell through the door with his avatar, a huge oxen, right outside.
Now moving of his own free will, Kilaede ran forward and as he reached the unconcious bodies he asked, "What happened?"

Kil'grin was 50 feet away from the base camp when he heard two muffled crashes. Moving a few feet further up the trail, he realized that a group crowded around the doorway of the rebel safehouse.

"Damn it," He said in a irritated tone, "Have they found us so quickly!?!" Due to his poor eyesight inherited from Grak, he could not make out clearly who they individuals were at the entrance of the building. "Calm down, young one," Grak said in a chiding tone. "It may just be your friends." Kil'Grin scratched his head "Yeah, that's true." He said apologetically, "Let's follow the usual plan?" Grak nodded.

The giant armadillo unsheathed his claws and began to dig a large tunnel several feet underground that headed in the direction of the safe house. Kil'grin followed Grak down, but was careful to keep a meter away to avoid being scratched or skewered by his hind claws. Though it had only happened once since he met Grak, he did not want to suffer the same injuries again. He kept to the sides of the tunnel as Grak's tail whipped the soil back in to place, refilling the tunnel simultaneously behind him.

Less than half a minute later, Grak stopped and Kil'grin looked up to see a wooden door. From his many months and years of experience, this door led directly to the base. Kil'grin patted Grak on the back and stepped on his armored shell in order to give a enormous heave to the door, pushing it up and over.

He entered the base without making a sound, helping Grak up afterward and stared at the doorway, realizing that it was just his friends. He shrugged and closed the door, careful to cover the door with the old carpet he found one day on the streets.. He made this entrance a few months back and so far, his companions did not notice it. He rather liked it and only if there was an emergency would he tell them of it.

Kil'grin moved to the front door and tapped Orson on the shoulders. "You need help with that?" He asked with a smile and a chuckle. He always loved when his companions asked how he got in.

Orson sighed as he shook his head. "I have no idea, he's been heavily wounded - someone lay him out on the sofa." He stated. "I'm guessing he must've been attacked by giests on the way here. I'm just hoping he didn't give any information about us away..."

Nari nodded to the new arrivals. Her voice rather mother-like. "How was the rest of your days~? Find anything intresting?" She inquired.

Orson moved, sitting himself at the end of the table, his face seeming to be calculating one of the maps on the table infront of him. Making small markings on it, his brow furrowing. "Feel free to take seats, we'll start once everyone is here."

Orson looked over his shoulders, he had - of course, heard the man burying under the building, but decided to play along. Putting on a face of pretend shock. "How did you get in here THIS time, I wonder?" He grinned, a sence of sarcasm on his voice.

Laurel walked into the base and layed the body down on the said couch, Lumina proudly trailing behind her, stopping to growl at Grak as she passed, but with a nudge of Laurel's foot, she continued to the couch and settled on top of the unconscious chest of Okko. "I doubt he did, he's not weak" Laurel mumbled in response to Orson's answer to Kil'grin's query.
I don't like it when they dig their way in here. Lumina stated, glaring at Grak
Laurel sighed and rolled her eyes
"We all know that, hun"

Kil'grin placed his palm on his forehead and laughed, "I guess you've known all along then, hmm?" He said in a deep baritone. "Darn your cat like ears." Kil'grin chuckled and slapped a hand on Orson's back. "Perhaps I should use the front door more often."

Grak flicked his tail on the ground directly in front of Lumina's small body, lifting a layer of dust and grime up in to the air for a moment before it settled back down. He locked eyes with Lumina and gave what could only be a small smile. A moment later, a blank expression washed over his face and he broke eye contact.

Grak settled on the ground behind the couch and Kil'grin fell suit, leaning comfortably on Grak's warm underbelly. His eyes occasionally fluttered as he tried to keep awake. Grak, had already given himself over to the temptations of sleep. Soft snores came from his mouth and Kil'grin decided to let him catch a few Zs.

Orson pouted. "Me? Why would you insinuate such a thing?" He smiled, playfully winking, before returning to his work. Frowning.

Tomorrow. He thought.

What is it~? The voice of Nari popped up in his head. He sighed deeply.

The Convoy I was talking to you about, just hoping Okko's better for tomorrow. We'll be needing all the men we can get. Orson contemplated.

I'm not sure on this whole killing the giests things, I mean...

Nari, you know aswell as I do that those people have lost any trace of humanity they had after having their avatars severed. I'm not even sure how they're still alive, IF they're still alive...

Nari sighed rather audibley, nuzzing against Orson's knee. "I guess your right."

Stepping over the body, Kilaede made his way over to an unoccupied chair. "Well, my day was pretty uneventful," He said with a sigh, as he sat down.
What are you talking about? Spending hours training your marial arts wasn't enjoyable? Raecar said with obvious sarcasm. Kilaede didn't seem to hear the bear, as his gray eyes ran over everyone in the room. The group truly wasn't very impressive, they were all a affected by their not so friendly conditions, but they were his family.
What are you thinking about little friend? Raecar asked, sounding troubled.
"Nothing," Kilaede replied, "Nothing important." Sometimes I wonder what the end result of this reabellion will be, The boy thought sourly he kicked some of the drying mud off his shoe, It just doesn't seem like it's doing enough.

Waking up from a light sleep Ruth and Ree noticed the room was already being filled in with the people he had been expecting an hour earlier. Expecting couple of "Hi's and how you doing's" He stood up and walked up to them surprisingly no one noticing him. Then out of Habit looked at his hand which was not there. Realizing he was in Camo mode used his to his advantage. Walking up close to Laurel's ear whispered "Is Okko Ok~?"

Lumina slid off Okko's chest as he took a deep breath, letting out a scared yelp which made Laurel sigh. The little wolf then curled up around Laurel's feet and resumed her nap. She already knew Ruth was there because of her natural intuition. Apparently since her annoying little avatar HAD no abilities, she got that instead.
"He's fine... I think" she whispered back.
