This world isn't different from yours - not much different, anyway. People kill people with guns, politicians wear suits and ramble on about change. The skys are filled with pollution and crime continues to ravage the streets of the grey, new york city.

Exept humanity has a new weapon in this pointless conflict, their avatar. Each human has an avatar that stands by their sides. It represents them - and their powers. Let's say someone has an avatar of that of a hawk - this avatar will give them unparraleled insight, dexterity and eyes sharper than most humans that would point out things most couldn't.

Humans have a mental link with their avatars, and their avatars may speak to others as if they were human themselves. Whilst the strength they bring is large - if an avatar is killed, the human either dies, or becomes a geist. Geist have no emotions, and will serve under whoever took the demon away. As if in a vain attempt to grasp it back.

Unfortunateley, the goverment has been controlling this - eventually grasping it's hand snug around the populace. A hand of dark opression.

They have created a legion of giests. No-one knew this until now, no-one apart from the rebel group. Who formed upon finding this out, a group of few, selected warriors plucked by their life by the hands of fate.

As the factions will allign, will the rebels be able to face off against the threat?

Name: Orson Karvi

Description:He appears a tall, striking figure. His hair is brown, tied to the back in a loose, unkempt ponytail. He tends to wear a loose, brown shirt with a leather overjacket. He allso wears dirty, torn jeans with a belt holding them up. His face is gaunt, yet strong and handsome. And stubble matts his chin. His eyes are coloured in an odd way, one blue, one gold.

Personality: He tends to be quiet and decisive. Never really giving too much about himself away.

Avatar's Name: Nari

Avatar's Description: Nari is a white-furred tiger, slightly larger than most - she stands at an impressive four feet tall and eight feet long. Her black markings very distinctive, she has oddly coloured eyes, one blue, and one gold.



Avatar's Personality:Nari is playfull and fun-loving. She tends to have a cheery mannerism about things, but can be reckless and angry when annoyed. To her enemies, she is a deadly adversary. To her friends, she is a faithfull and loyal companion.

History of the Human and it's Avatar: Orson and Nari were orphaned - their mother had passed from cancer, and his father had left home and never came back. After growing old enough, Orson went onto the streets. Upon chance, he found out what the goverment were doing when one of the convoys of captured humans and avatars were going to a factory where the giests were being produced.

And from that day forth, he began to recruit members into the rebellion. Traning them, training himself - to use their avatars and themselves to their full potential.

Abilities that the Avatar brings about: Due to Nari's thick, nearly impenatrable hide, Orson is very tough. Bullets are stopped short of vital organs if aimed well, and knive-wielders have a hard time even denting him. Nari is allso very athletic, and can survive most falls. This allso passes onto Orson, being able to perform supernatural feats of agility and allso being able to survive falls that would snap the legs of most humans.

Allso, he has a very keen sence of smell, and is able to track down scents - and smell them approaching, his reflexes are allso keen, and he is sometimes able to dodge bullets where most humans would've died before they even had a chance to think.

Weapons the human may carry: Orson tends to carry two, silver pistols inside his jacket, and a knife attached to a stap on his leg - underneath his trousers.

Name: Kanya
Description: Kanya has short black hair with a few grey/white stripes in it and her eyes are light grey. She is around 1.70 m (donno about feet ..) and is slender which makes her very flexible. She wears a bit torn, dark blue jeans, a grey shirt with a white print of an unknow mark and a black jacket.

Personality: Quiet, Observing, Likes to be on her own, doesn't say much most of the time.
Avatar's Name: Tioga
Avatar's Description: Tioga is a black/dark grey wolf with white/grey stripes and light grey eyes. He is slender and therefor quite flexible. (The with on this picture is more like grey.

Avatar's Personality: Also quiet and observing but he can also be as cheerfull as a small puppy, jumping around after a prey. He can make even Kanya become cheerful sometimes and he is very arrogant sometimes.
History of the Human and it's Avatar: Kanya and Tioga lived with her parents in the woods where she was outside all day, she loved her parents. But one day when she came back they were dead, killed by Geists, she could smell them. She left her house looking for Geists, looking for revenge for what they did.
Abilities that the Avatar brings about: A for being a wolf Tioga gives Kanya the abilitie to walk without a sound, and to be able to observe people very carfully before jumping into action, she can likewise read their movements and predict what they would do. Besides that he grands Kanya far more better senses than a normal human would have.
Weapons the human may carry: Set of small knives for killing without a sound and two beautifull silver pistols with on every side a wolfshead, a gift from Orson.

Name:Kilaede Daretha

Description:Thick black hair that looks as though it was never combed since it started growing, gray eyes that often look sad, even when Kilaede smiles. His clothes are mud covered jeans and T-shirt that are so faded it is impossible to tell what color they used to be.

Personality:When he is with others he laughs and talks enthusiasticly, but when he is alone he will just stare off into the distance, deep in thought.

Avatar's Name:Raecar

Avatar's Description:A great brown bear with matted, gray-tipped fur and intelligent brown eyes.

Avatar's Personality:He is calm and collected always helping and soothing his companion.

History of the Human and it's Avatar:Raecar and Kilaede were orphaned before they were old enough to know what happened. The pair have been sent from relative to relative for as long as they can remember and then one day a couple years ago they were sent to the place where giests were made by their uncle. Raecar and Kilaede barely escaped and joined the rebellion.

Abilities that the Avatar brings about: Kilaede becomes nearly unstoppable and bullets will only enrage him, he gains an unbeleivable endurance as well as sense of smell and hearing. Fighting instincts also come to him so his skills
at unhanded combat become amazing.

Description:
Personality: Laurel is a sweet and careful girl, sometimes overcautious of her Avatar, treating her almost as a little sister since Laurel has no family. Her avatar, Lumina is the only one she trusts, though the little rascal can be mischevious and just as clever as her human.
Avatar's Name: Lumina
Avatar's Description:
Avatar's Personality: Lumina is hyper, scheming, and troublesome. She only gets away with half of the annoying thing she does by being small, fluffy and cute.
History of the Human and it's Avatar: Laurel was an orphan on the streets for her entire life, until the government decided to take her in. She was going to be turned into a Geist, but the connection between Lumina and Laurel was too strong and it failed. When it did, this intrigued the scientists and they performed some painful and scarring procedures on the two before they managed to escape.
Abilities that the Avatar brings about: Uncanny agility and ability to sniff any small scent. She is also strangely intuitive about others, knowing things she shouldn't.
Weapons the human may carry: two small daggers that Laurel keeps with her at all times.

Description: Rather tall, Tan skin, some what long blonde hair that usually covers one of his eyes, his eyes two different shades of brown, his left eye is light brown and his right eye is very dark brown; he wears baggy cargo pants and a black under shirt, occationally wearing a jacket of some kind, but not normaly; Black running shoes

Personality: Quite talkative, and almost never thinks before he speaks, he will talk during anything and every thing, even in the middle of a fight or while a 'special' moment is occuring

Avatar's Name: Kai

Avatar's Description: Kai is a Cheetah, she looks like a normal cheetah but has solid black spots over each eye and running rather straight down her spine. she is quite large for a cheetah yet has more speed and stamina then the usual cheetah. Kai stands at approx. 3.5 feet tall(back) and about 7.7 feet long (nose to tail)

Avatar's Personality: Kai doesnt speak much and her mind is always working, thinking out different things, she tends to over think things occationally but also saves Otto's butt often, by getting him out of stickey situations

History of the Human and it's Avatar: Otto and Kai lived a great life until they were about 10, they were always happy and had a great life with wealthy parents until, that is, his parents were taken and had their Avatars striped away from them. from that day they looked for different ways to get back at the people who took his parents, he is still looking for the people that took his parents.

Abilities that the Avatar brings about: Otto has extreme almost supernatural speed, and great senses, he could smell blood a mile away and see it just as easily. his hearing is quite good but not as good as his sight and smell.

Weapons the human may carry: Otto recently started carring aprox. three swords one at waist and the other two crossed over his back, one is yellow one is black and one is white

Overshadowed

Finally, another RP that I'm interested in, this post will be reserved for my Character Sheet and I'll post it as soon as I figure what my avatar will be.My character is not the looker)

Name:Kil'Grin

Description: A heavily muscular male,Kil reaches a height of 6'4 his shoulders having the span of an average sized doorway. His beige brown hair is kept short, mimicking the buzz cut style of the nation's soldiers. On his eyebrow is a 2 inch scar, a small patch of bleached white skin surrounds it. Dark forest green eyes adorn his face along with a thin lip and sharp chin. Kil is covered in a camouflage spandex like material that acts as a second skin. Covering every inch of this is a large camouflage jacket, closed tightly with buttons, hiding his body. Large boots matching the design are worn on his feet.
Personality: A cheerful man with company, a large smile and boisterous laugh to match, but when in combat, his eyes lose their luster and a blank expression is placed on his face to protect himself from the agony he is about to inflict on his enemies.

Avatar's Name:Grak

Avatar's Description:Grak is a large Armadillo, reaching a size of 6 feet and a mass of 200lbs. He has poor vision which can not be helped, due to the fact it's a trait of his species. His body is a brownish gray in color and deadly claws grace his forefeet and hind feet. His main defense is to curl in to a practically impenetrable armored ball and bash down his opposition, if this fails him, his claws prove more than adequate to deal with a opponent or digging his way to safety as a last resort.

Avatar's Personality: Grak acts like a doting father, constantly pointing out flaws in Kil's ways and offering ways to correct them. Having lost his father at birth, Kil welcomes his new parent and knows Grak does this only out of concern and love for him. He is over protective of Kil at best and becomes highly irritating at the worst of circumstances.

History of the Human and it's Avatar: After losing his father to a mining incident, he left the city and heard a deep comforting voice which he followed until he reached a giant den, there was a long moment's silence as Grak's head slowly emerged from the entrance. Without the need for words, they knew they were to be companions for life.

Abilities that the Avatar brings about: Due to Grak's flexibility and armored shell, For defensive measures, Kil'Grin is able to curl in to a armored ball,his skin practically impenetrable by bullets and close range weapons. offensively, he is able to extend his arms out from either side of the ball and roll with phenomenal speed at his enemies, creating the replica of a spinning top, but lethal.

Weapons the human may carry: A pair of Katars are hidden under his sleeves, a mechanism springs the katars out from their hiding place with the press of a button located on his left palm, easily reached. The katars are attached to a extremely durable 15 foot wire and can be launched at the enemy with a button located on his right palm if needed. (easily retractable)

History of the Human and it's Avatar: Willow and River grew up in a small tribe near the mississippi river. They lived there all their lives, learning to fend for themselves and about eachother and the ways of life. Last year, they left their tripe when Avatar's started going missing and joined the rebellion.

Abilities that the Avatar brings about: River gives Willow excellent eyesight and a great hearing. He also makes her very fast and gives her cat-like reflexes.

Abilities that the Avatar brings about: Ree brings with her the perfect camouflage making Ruth and herself almost invisible. Because of Ree's natural pace of taking everything slow they almost never panic and thus more thinking less panicking
